Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2 1080p doorbell camera
Product description
This wired smart doorbell camera captures more of your doorstep with 1536p HD Head to Toe video and offers advanced motion detection for better awareness when someone approaches. It suits homes where continuous power from existing doorbell wiring is available and you want clearer video, two-way talk and configurable privacy settings to manage alerts.
Key Points
The Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2 delivers higher resolution Head to Toe footage that helps identify visitors and monitor deliveries more effectively. 3D Motion Detection and Bird's Eye View aid in locating where motion begins, which can reduce false alerts and focus attention on relevant events. Two-way talk with microphone and speaker allows quick communication at the door and Quick Replies can send a preset message if you cannot answer. The unit requires hardwiring to existing doorbell wiring and includes the necessary transformer, although professional installation is recommended.

Improved dual-band Wi‑Fi support may offer more stable connectivity in homes with crowded wireless networks. Certified refurbished units can lower cost while offering the main features of the Pro 2, according to the product listing. Consider that some advanced features such as event recording require a Ring Protect subscription which is sold separately.
Usage Recommendations
Install the doorbell where existing wiring is accessible and position it to maximise the head-to-toe framing for best results. Test and adjust the 3D Motion Detection zones and sensitivity to match your walkway and reduce alerts from passing traffic or tree movement. Pair with a Ring Chime or an Alexa-enabled device inside the house if you want audible notifications indoors, because your original mechanical chime will no longer sound once this unit is hardwired.
