This set brings together the Ultra Striker robot and an exclusive Mr. King figure. That pairing gives children both a character to place in the cockpit and a robot to control during pretend-play battles. Rather than a static figure designed mainly for display, the Ultra Striker has movement and action features to build into a story: roll it into the scene, extend its legs and stage an attack. Its manual operation keeps the play straightforward, with no battery-powered functions to manage.

Usage tips

Place Mr. King in the cockpit to take the role of the robot’s pilot, then use the wheels to move the Ultra Striker around a tabletop play area. The extendable legs help shift it into attack position, while the articulated limbs allow different poses between scenes. For battle play, the spinning attack on one fist and the hook on the other give children two distinct actions to work into their story. They can take turns making the robot pursue heroes, capture opponents or defend a base, using their own ideas to decide what happens next.

This format suits children who enjoy role-playing with recognisable SuperThings characters and like toys they can move and reposition as they play. It is also a practical choice for a tabletop game: the wheels support movement across the play surface, and the cockpit connects the figure to the robot’s storyline. The set is recommended for ages 3 and up, and requires no assembly, so play can begin by placing Mr. King in the cockpit and exploring the robot’s features.

In the box

The set contains the Ultra Striker robot and an exclusive Mr. King figure. Together, they provide the key pieces for piloting and staging SuperThings adventures with the robot’s built-in movement and attack features.

Before you decide

Does it need batteries? No. The robot is manually operated, with wheels and action features that children activate during play.

How can children play with the robot? Place Mr. King in the cockpit, roll the robot on its wheels and extend its legs into attack position. The spinning fist and capture hook add different actions to imaginative SuperThings role-play.

Final verdict

For children aged 3 and up who enjoy SuperThings role-play, this set combines an exclusive Mr. King figure with a robot built for hands-on action. Wheels, extendable legs, articulated limbs and two different attack features give them practical ways to move the story along, while the cockpit makes Mr. King part of the play. It’s a character-led robot for tabletop adventures that invite children to create their own battles.
