LEGO Minecraft The Skeleton 21594 Building Set, 502 Pieces, Posable Figure

Some building sets are made mainly for the fun of construction, this one turns that build into a Minecraft display figure as well. LEGO Minecraft The Skeleton (21594) recreates an iconic game character with a bow and arrow, a removable diamond helmet and a grass base, so it can move from building time to a shelf or bedside table once assembled.

With 502 pieces and a recommended age of 10+, it offers a hands-on project for young Minecraft fans, with a finished model that keeps the character at the centre of the scene.

Quick sizing guide

The completed skeleton stands over 29 cm tall, giving it a noticeable presence as room décor. Its grass base provides a defined display spot, while the jointed neck and arms let builders adjust the pose. The diamond helmet can be removed, making it easy to change the figure’s look without taking apart the whole model. The set is made from plastic and is designed for builders aged 10 and up.

Where it shines

This set brings together two reasons to choose a Minecraft build: the satisfaction of putting the figure together and the chance to display a recognisable character afterwards. The skeleton’s bow and arrow, diamond helmet and grass base make the finished model read as a game-inspired scene, rather than a collection of loose bricks. What makes it particularly suited to display? Its poseable neck and arms give the figure a bit of action while it stands on its base.

For a practical build session, the LEGO Builder app offers digital instructions that can be zoomed in on and rotated in 3D, with progress tracking as the model takes shape. Builders can also scan the QR code on the building instructions to redeem a diamond skull cap for use in Minecraft. That adds a link between the physical model and the game, alongside the creative play of rearranging and reimagining scenes.

Compared with a more open-ended building set intended for repeated free-form construction, The Skeleton has a clear character-led goal and a finished display model. It suits a birthday gift or a shared build for someone who enjoys Minecraft characters and wants a piece of gaming décor to keep on show.

Is it worth it?

Worth considering if the aim is to give a Minecraft fan a build that continues to be part of their room after assembly. The recognisable skeleton design, removable diamond helmet, bow and arrow, poseable parts and grass base give the finished figure its own display appeal, while the app instructions support the building process. It’s a focused choice for fans who would enjoy both creating and showing off one of the game’s iconic characters.
