Transformers G20135X0 Age of the Primes Autobot Joyride Figure, 13 cm

For Transformers fans aged 8 and up, the Age of the Primes Autobot Joyride brings changing modes and character-inspired details together in one play figure. At 13 cm tall in robot mode, Joyride converts into a dune buggy in 26 steps, giving the transformation itself a hands-on role in play.

The set also includes Autobot Hotwire, which converts into an engine block, plus instructions. Choose it for interactive robot-and-vehicle play, or use the articulated figure for posing and display, it offers both approaches in a compact Deluxe Class format.

The transformation gives play a clear sequence to follow, while the articulated design supports posing once Joyride is in robot mode. Its character details draw on the Transformers universe, making the figure suited to fans who enjoy recognisable characters as well as changing a toy between forms. Compared with a figure intended mainly for static display, Joyride adds a vehicle mode and a step-by-step conversion, that makes it a practical choice when hands-on play is just as important as placing the figure on a shelf.

How to use it

Use the instructions to guide the 26-step conversion between robot and dune buggy mode. The process gives children aged 8 and up a focused activity, with the vehicle form providing a different way to continue imaginative play. Joyride’s articulated construction also allows it to be posed in robot mode for play or display. Autobot Hotwire adds another character to the set and can be converted into an engine block, giving the pair a simple way to feature together in a Transformers scene.

This is a manual toy, so there is no battery-powered operation to set up, and no assembly is required. Keep the age guidance in mind: the toy is recommended for ages 8 and up and contains small parts that present a choking hazard for children under 3.

What you get

The set includes the Autobot Joyride figure, Autobot Hotwire and instructions. Joyride changes between robot and dune buggy modes, while Hotwire converts into an engine block. Together, the two figures give children a character pairing for imaginative play, while the instructions provide guidance for the more involved Joyride transformation.

Final verdict

Autobot Joyride suits young Transformers fans who want more than a single display pose: it combines a 13 cm articulated robot figure with a 26-step buggy conversion and a second transforming character. The included Hotwire figure adds another element to play, while the two modes make Joyride a fitting choice for children aged 8 and up who enjoy working through a transformation as part of their play.
