VTech 538005 Switch & Go Dinos Furex T-Rex Transforming Toy Car
Product description
For children aged 4 and up who enjoy dinosaur play as well as racing cars, VTech Switch & Go Dinos Furex brings both ideas together in one transforming toy. The Super T-Rex changes into a racing car, giving children two ways to build a story and switch up their play.
Rather than choosing between a dinosaur figure and a vehicle, children can move between the two modes. Light projections, animated screen displays, phrases and sound effects add character to each transformation.
Quick sizing guide
Furex measures 21.5 x 9.8 x 13.4 centimetres and is recommended for children aged 4 to 12. Its plastic construction and lightweight design make it straightforward to handle as children transform it from dinosaur to car and back again. It is a practical size for imaginative play at home, whether the story centres on a dinosaur adventure or a race across the floor.
Strengths
The two modes give this toy a clear play idea: in dinosaur mode, the display shows dino eyes and pressing Furex triggers a fireball projection. Transform it into vehicle mode and the screen shows a driver, while the button produces a lightning projection. Children can use the changing display and effects to give each character a different role in their stories.
More than 30 phrases and realistic sound effects bring extra variety to play. The dinosaur theme can inspire imaginative adventures, while the racing-car form offers a different direction for the same toy. That makes Furex suited to children who like changing the scene as they play, a single-mode dinosaur figure may suit someone who prefers to keep their play focused on one character or form.
The toy is manually operated, needs no assembly and has an automatic shut-off feature. It requires two LR6/AA batteries, which are included. The listed version is French, a useful detail for families choosing a toy with spoken phrases and sounds.
