SONGMICS LLR518G01 Winged Clothes Airer, 18 m Drying Space, Foldable

Some laundry routines call for a simple way to air-dry a full wash, while others need a practical place for a few delicate items. The SONGMICS LLR518G01 winged clothes airer gives you 18 m of drying space for clothes, towels and linens, with a foldable design that makes it easy to put away between uses.

It arrives ready to use, with no assembly required, and can be used indoors or outdoors.

Best use cases

Use the broad hanging space for everyday laundry, towels and bed linens, or spread items out for air-drying at home. The winged layout gives you room to organise different garments across the rack, while the included sock clips provide a handy spot for smaller items. Set it up in a laundry room, bathroom, on a balcony or in the garden to suit your routine.

When laundry is finished, fold the airer for more compact storage. Its 4 kg weight also makes it practical to move between suitable drying areas. For outdoor use, bring it back in after use rather than leaving it outside for prolonged periods.

Where it shines

The reinforced structure uses two frame supports and four clamps to help keep the airer stable when loaded. Its rust-resistant coated drying rods are suited to hanging damp garments, and the air-drying approach gives clothes, towels and linens a place to dry naturally. Spread the weight evenly and position the rack on a level surface for stable everyday use.

Buyers particularly appreciate the generous room for laundry, noting that it can hold many items, as well as the practical fold-away design. That combination makes this a useful choice for households that want a dedicated drying area without leaving the rack set up permanently. Compared with choosing a smaller airer for occasional items, this model offers more hanging space for mixed laundry and larger pieces such as linens.

Before you decide

Does the airer need to be assembled? No. It is ready to use when opened, so you can set it up for laundry without putting the frame together.

How much laundry can it hold? It provides 18 m of drying space and has a maximum static load capacity of 18 kg. Distribute garments evenly across the frame and use a level surface.

Can it be used outdoors? Yes, it is designed for indoor and outdoor use. It suits spaces such as a balcony or garden, bring it back in after use instead of leaving it outdoors for prolonged periods.
