SONGMICS LLR540G01 BUNJI Clothes Airer, 18 m Drying Space, Foldable

Seventeen drying rods provide 18 m of hanging space, giving everyday laundry and larger items room to air-dry. The SONGMICS LLR540G01 has gullwing sections to help make use of its wide drying area. Fold it flat when laundry is done and move it to suit your space. Choose a freestanding airer for flexible indoor or outdoor drying, or a fixed line if you prefer a permanent setup.

Highlights

With dimensions of 50 x 182 x 103 cm, this clothes airer offers generous space for a mixed load, from smaller garments to bed linen. Its gullwing design adds useful hanging area, while the 17 rods provide 18 m in total for spreading laundry out to dry. That makes it practical when you want to dry several items at once without relying on a permanent washing line.

The frame uses carbon steel tubes with a treated finish and polypropylene connectors. It weighs 2.6 kg, so it is straightforward to reposition between a suitable indoor drying spot and an outdoor area. When not in use, the airer folds flat for storage in a narrow space. A sliding loop and clip help keep the wings in place when folded, and plastic feet are designed to be kinder to floors.

Practical tips

Set the airer on a level surface and spread the clothes evenly across the rods to help keep it balanced. Its maximum static load is 15 kg, so distributing laundry across the frame is useful for both stability and making the drying space accessible. For heavier or bulky pieces such as bed linen, use the available rod space thoughtfully rather than concentrating the weight in one area.

Tips for day-to-day use

For a regular wash, position the airer where it has room to open fully and where you can reach both sides of the rods. The gullwing sections give you extra space for items that benefit from being laid out, while the main frame accommodates everyday clothing. If you move laundry between rooms or outside, its lightweight construction makes repositioning easier, fold it down flat afterwards to keep storage simple.

Air-drying is a practical way to care for clothes without using a heated drying appliance. Use the rack indoors or outdoors, choosing a spot that suits the laundry and gives the open frame a level base. Instructions are included to guide assembly.
