SmarTect Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Xiaomi Redmi 12 4G/5G, 3 Pack
Product description
Some mobile phone owners want a clear layer against everyday scratches, others need protection that can be replaced without buying a single protector each time. This SmarTect pack is made for the Xiaomi Redmi 12 4G and 5G, with three tempered-glass protectors included.
Its glossy, ultra-clear finish is intended to preserve the display’s original appearance, while the 9H hardness rating and stated shock resistance address day-to-day knocks and scuffs. It is a straightforward choice for anyone who prefers glass to a flexible film.
For a curved display, the listing notes that the protector covers the horizontal surface only. That detail matters when deciding how much of the screen you want covered.
Fit and sizing
The protectors are listed as compatible with the Xiaomi Redmi 12 4G and Xiaomi Redmi 12 5G. The stated dimensions are 16.2L x 7.1W centimetres, and the glass is 0.3 mm thick. The manufacturer says the cut is designed to work with most phone cases, though compatibility is not described as universal.
A solid pick if you want a glass screen layer for one of these Redmi 12 versions and value having spares in the same pack. Better avoided if you expect coverage around the curved edges: the stated fit covers the horizontal surface only.
What you’ll notice day to day
The glossy glass is designed to keep the display clear and touch-sensitive. An oleophobic coating is intended to reduce fingerprints, grease and dirt, while the anti-bubble claim and supplied cleaning items make installation more approachable. The pack includes three protectors, three wet wipes, a microfibre cloth, two anti-dust stickers and an English instruction manual.
In practical terms, this suits a phone used for everyday browsing, messaging and handling where scratches from routine contact are a concern. Tempered glass is the firmer option compared with a flexible TPU film: the product information describes glass as impact- and scratch-resistant, while TPU is presented as a flexible choice for curved displays and lighter protection. For this type of use, the glass format makes sense if a clear, rigid layer is the priority, rather than a flexible film for fuller coverage of curves.
The 9H rating is a stated surface-hardness specification, not a guarantee that the screen cannot be damaged. Treat the protector as an added layer, rather than a substitute for careful handling.

Practical questions
Does the pack include installation items? Yes. It comes with wet wipes, a microfibre cloth, anti-dust stickers and an instruction manual to help with cleaning and fitting.
Will the fingerprint sensor work through the glass? The manufacturer says its protectors are compatible with fingerprint sensors, but notes that recalibration or reconfiguration may be needed in some cases.
Does it cover the curved edges? The product information says that on a curved smartphone, only the horizontal surface is covered. That makes the coverage detail worth considering if edge-to-edge protection is important to you.
Is it worth it?
This pack is most relevant if you have a Xiaomi Redmi 12 4G or 5G and want a clear tempered-glass protector with spares and basic fitting accessories included. Its practical distinction is the rigid glass format, glossy finish and three-piece pack, the main trade-off is the stated coverage on curved screens. If those points match how you use and protect your phone, it offers a focused alternative to choosing a flexible film. If you need coverage around curved edges, this product information does not support that expectation.
