Revopoint POP4-PREMIUM 3D Scanner with Blue Laser and Five Scanning Modes

For capturing a small mechanical part for a 3D-printing workflow or modelling a larger component, the Revopoint POP 4 offers five scanning modes for different objects and settings.

Its blue-laser mode reaches up to 0.03 mm single-frame accuracy and can scan dark or highly reflective objects without scanning spray. That helps preserve useful surface detail across a wider range of parts.

At 286 g, the scanner is designed for handheld use, with USB and Wi-Fi connectivity for scanning with a compatible computer or mobile device.

How it fits

Choose among three NIR modes—Full-Field HD, Hybrid HD and VCSEL Rapid—and two blue-light modes: 30-Cross Laser Lines and Single-Line Deep Hole. This gives you options for markerless capture, reflective or dark surfaces, and narrow grooves or deep holes. Scan volumes range from 10 × 10 × 10 mm to 2 × 2 × 2 m, covering small precision parts through to larger components.

For a workshop project, you could capture a small part in a suitable mode, then bring the scan into a 3D-printing or modelling workflow. Revo Scan 6 supports post-processing, with output formats including STL, OBJ, PLY, 3MF and FBX. Revo Measure and Revo Design are separate paid Windows software options for measurement and reverse engineering.

What stands out

The 30-Cross Blue Laser Lines mode is suited to dark and highly reflective objects, while Single-Line Deep Hole mode is designed to capture narrow grooves and recessed details. For broader capture, Full-Field Structured Light scans at up to 5,000,000 points per second, Multi-line Laser mode reaches up to 105 fps with NVIDIA GPU acceleration.

AI object segmentation can identify and track the target while filtering background noise, simplifying scan cleanup. This feature is available on Windows. The 3D Gaussian Splatting workflow can turn point-cloud and RGB data into photorealistic models, phone or camera photos can be used to add real textures, with splat-format export for gaming, animation and VR projects.

For field work, the scanner supports outdoor capture in bright conditions. Multi-line Laser mode works up to 50,000 lux, and VCSEL mode up to 100,000 lux. An outdoor filter, sold separately, supports Multi-line Laser scanning up to 100,000 lux. The included 5,500 mAh battery grip provides up to four hours of continuous outdoor scanning.
