Samsung Odyssey G6 LS27DG602SNXZA 27-inch QHD OLED Gaming Monitor, 360 Hz

At 27 inches, the Samsung Odyssey G6 pairs a QHD OLED display with a matte screen finish for a detailed gaming setup that can fit neatly into a desk space. Its 2560 x 1440 resolution, 360 Hz refresh rate and 0.03 ms response time put fast, responsive play at the centre of the experience.

OLED brings deep blacks and vivid colour to game worlds, while Glare Free technology helps reduce reflections from external light. The flat silver design adds a clean look to a gaming station.

Why it makes sense

This monitor brings together the visual depth of OLED and a high refresh rate in one 27-inch QHD display. OLED pixels can show true black without pixel light bleed, helping dark scenes retain depth and detail. With HDR10 support and a wide colour range, games can also present vibrant environments and varied shades. The matte finish and OLED Glare Free technology are useful when room lighting might otherwise distract from the screen.

For competitive games, the 360 Hz refresh rate and 0.03 ms response time support rapid on-screen updates and quick image transitions. AMD FreeSync Premium Pro uses variable refresh rate to synchronize the display with a compatible GPU, helping reduce tearing and stutter during changing action. That combination makes the G6 a focused choice for players who value both fast motion and OLED contrast, rather than choosing a monitor solely for general desktop use.

Key points

The screen’s 2560 x 1440 QHD resolution gives game visuals a detailed presentation, while its 16:9 aspect ratio suits a conventional desktop gaming layout. HDMI and DisplayPort connections provide options for linking a desktop, and the monitor includes HDMI, DisplayPort and power cables. Two USB ports add connectivity at the display. Its height, pivot, swivel and tilt adjustments make it easier to position the screen for a comfortable desk arrangement, it also supports wall mounting.

Samsung OLED Safeguard+ includes a Dynamic Cooling System that uses a pulsating heat pipe to diffuse heat and help address burn-in risk. Flicker-free operation is another listed display feature. Buyers’ feedback often highlights the display, colours and appearance, while opinions on power performance, value and picture quality are mixed. Those impressions are best treated as individual perspectives, the defining reasons to choose this model remain its OLED panel, QHD format and 360 Hz refresh rate.

Who it’s for

The Odyssey G6 suits PC gamers building a setup around quick, fluid gameplay and the contrast of OLED. It is particularly relevant for someone who wants a high-refresh QHD screen without moving to a different format or giving up adjustable positioning. In a practical setup, connect a desktop through HDMI or DisplayPort, position the screen using its stand adjustments, and use FreeSync Premium Pro with a compatible GPU for variable-refresh-rate gaming.

Final verdict

Choose the Samsung Odyssey G6 when a gaming monitor needs to combine 27-inch QHD detail, deep OLED blacks and a 360 Hz refresh rate. Its adjustable stand, glare-reducing screen technology and HDMI and DisplayPort connectivity make it a well-equipped centrepiece for a desktop gaming station.
