KTC H27E22P 27-Inch FHD 280Hz Gaming Monitor, Fast VA, 1ms GTG
Product description
Some gaming setups call for sharper resolution, others put fast on-screen motion first. The KTC H27E22P takes the latter approach with FHD resolution and a 280Hz refresh rate over DisplayPort.
Its 27-inch Fast VA panel pairs a matte finish with a 4000:1 contrast ratio, giving games and other content rich colour and deep blacks.
FreeSync and G-Sync compatibility, HDR support and a 1ms GTG response time round out a display built around responsive PC gaming.
Getting the most from it
For the advertised maximum refresh rate, connect a PC through DisplayPort. The monitor supports up to 280Hz over DisplayPort, while HDMI 2.0 supports up to 240Hz. This lets you choose a connection based on the device and refresh rate you want to use.
At 1920 × 1080, the screen keeps its focus on Full HD gaming rather than a higher-resolution image. The Fast VA panel, 1ms GTG response time and adaptive sync support are useful when quick movement and responsive play matter. FreeSync and G-Sync compatibility help the monitor work with supported variable-refresh-rate setups.
The matte screen finish suits a gaming desk where reducing visible reflections is part of the setup. HDR support and 126% sRGB coverage add colour-focused features for games and everyday viewing. For a different priority, such as a higher pixel count for detailed creative work, a higher-resolution display may be the better fit, this model centres its feature set on high refresh at FHD.

Where it shines

The 27-inch FHD format gives games a roomy screen area, while the matte finish and flat panel keep the setup straightforward.
