How to use it

Insert the USB receiver into your computer to connect the mouse wirelessly. The receiver is stored on the back of the mouse beside the battery compartment, making it easy to keep with the mouse when moving between workspaces. The connection is plug-and-play and does not require drivers. Use the DPI button to choose among 800, 1200, 1600, 2000 and 2400 DPI, depending on the pointer speed you prefer for browsing, document work or navigating a larger screen.

The mouse runs on one AA battery, which is sold separately. It enters sleep mode after eight minutes of inactivity and wakes with a click. The manufacturer states battery life of up to 15 months. Buyer feedback on battery life and ergonomics is mixed, so individual experiences vary. Some buyers also report problems with scroll-wheel function and reliability over time, these are useful considerations if you rely on the wheel throughout your workday.
