Verbatim Store'n'Go V3 256GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive, Grey

Who it’s for

With 256GB of storage, the Verbatim Store'n'Go V3 is designed for carrying files between compatible devices. It suits anyone who wants a straightforward way to keep documents, photos, videos and other files together for transfer or storage. The USB Type-A connector works with computers and laptops, while tablets and smartphones need USB OTG support. It’s also listed for use with compatible TVs and gaming systems.

It makes sense if you want a removable drive for moving files directly between devices, rather than relying on an online transfer. The USB 3.0 interface supports SuperSpeed transfers, and the drive is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 ports, making it useful across devices with different USB generations.

What you’ll notice day to day

The retractable connector slides out for use and back into the body for storage, so there’s no separate cap to keep track of. A slide-and-lock mechanism holds it in position while connected. For everyday transfers, plug the drive into a compatible USB port and drag and drop files, no setup software is needed. Optional password protection is available through a Windows download.

The 256GB capacity gives you room to keep a broad selection of files on one drive, whether you’re taking work documents between locations, sharing media with a compatible TV or moving files between a computer and another device. Compared with transferring files through an online service, a USB drive gives you a direct, portable option when both devices have a suitable connection. Its compact flash-drive format and 10-gram weight make it easy to carry with other everyday essentials.
