Microsoft Arc mouse Ocean

The standout feature of the Microsoft Arc mouse is its flat-folding design: it can slip into a pocket when you are travelling, then curve into a hand-fitting shape for use. It is also described as ultra-slim and lightweight, so it suits a setup where carrying less matters as much as having a mouse to hand. The Ocean colour adds a clear visual choice, while Bluetooth connection keeps it wireless. There is no battery or dimension information in the supplied details, so those practical points remain unanswered.

How to use it

For a commute or a day moving between home and another workspace, the Arc Mouse is designed to snap flat for carrying and curve back into shape when you need to work. That makes it a different proposition from a conventional mouse that keeps the same shape in your bag: this one prioritises a compact profile between uses. Its scroll layer handles both vertical and horizontal movement, which may be useful when navigating long pages or wide documents. Would that flatter carry shape matter more to you than having more detailed information about the mouse’s size and power arrangements? The product details do not specify how it is powered, so that is worth bearing in mind if you want to plan for extended time away from a desk.

It connects wirelessly over Bluetooth to a Surface or another Bluetooth device running Windows 11 or Windows 10. The description says the shape fits comfortably in the hand, but there is no further detail about hand sizing or how the design feels over long sessions. Its intended use is clear, the finer comfort details are not. The available colour information names Ocean, alongside Black, Platinum and Purple.

Pros

• Snaps flat for easier pocket-sized carrying, then curves into a shape intended to fit the hand.
• The scroll layer supports both vertical and horizontal scrolling, rather than limiting movement to one direction.
• Wireless Bluetooth connection is listed for Surface and other Bluetooth devices running Windows 11 or Windows 10.
• Left and right clicks are described as optimised, though no further detail about their feel or operation is provided.

The strongest reason to choose it is portability paired with two-way scrolling, rather than a long list of customisation or technical features. Tiene sentido si you want a mouse that can travel flat and prefer Bluetooth over a wired connection. Mejor evitarlo si you need confirmed details about battery life, dimensions, or compatibility with an operating system other than Windows 10 or Windows 11, those specifics are not included here.

The manufacturer describes the mouse as comfortable to hold and says its tracking is precise. Those are useful claims, but the supplied information does not give tracking specifications, dimensions, battery details or a charging method. If any of those will affect your setup, look for those details before choosing it. The flat-folding format is the concrete advantage here, it does not, by itself, tell you whether the shape will suit your hand or work habits.

My verdict

Choose the Arc Mouse if a low-profile mouse that packs flat is more appealing than a conventional, fixed-shape design, and you want vertical and horizontal scrolling in a Bluetooth model. The Ocean colour gives you a specific finish to pick, while the stated Windows compatibility makes the intended setup reasonably clear. According to the manufacturer, it also offers precise tracking and a comfortable hand fit, but there is not enough detail here to judge either point beyond that description. If you spend long stretches using a mouse or need confirmed power and size information before buying, a model with those details clearly listed is the safer comparison. For portable everyday use, its folding shape is the clearest reason to consider it.
