YIKTI Wild Flowers 28 x 20 Inch Stove Cover, Washable Heat-Resistant Mat

The 28 x 20-inch Wild Flowers cover is a flexible mat designed to sit over an electric glass or ceramic cooktop when it is not in use. Its floral print adds a decorative touch, while the natural rubber material also makes it useful on counters, tables, and other surfaces listed for everyday use.

It can serve as a cooktop cover, drying mat, or protective surface for hot cookware on a countertop. The size gives it broad coverage, so comparing the 28 x 20-inch dimensions with your available surface is an important part of deciding whether it will work in your kitchen.

Tips for day-to-day use

Use the cover only when the cooktop is off, and remove it before turning on the stove. The product is rated to withstand temperatures up to 400°F (200°C), but it is not meant to sit on active cookware. The listing also warns against covering induction cooktops that exceed 450°F. These precautions matter: the heat rating does not make the mat suitable for use over an active burner.

For countertop tasks, the mat can catch drips from dishes, glasses, fruit, or vegetables, or act as a surface for a coffee bar, pet bowls, tools, plant pots, or the top of a washer or dryer. Clean it by wiping spills or rinsing it with water. Its flexible, foldable construction allows it to be rolled or stored using the two included hooks. It’s a great fit if you want one floral mat that can move between a covered cooktop and other household surfaces.

What you’ll notice day to day

The main difference from a plain, undecorated cover is the wild-flower design, which makes the mat part of the kitchen’s visible décor. Buyer feedback commonly praises its appearance and vivid colors, and also describes the cover as useful for protecting glass cooktops. Some buyers mention a pleasing fit, that feedback is best treated as an indication, not a substitute for matching the listed dimensions to your own stove.

The wide format can also be handy when you need a surface for drying dishes or want to protect a counter from drips. In those settings, it serves a different role from a cover made only to sit over a cooktop. Its versatility may be useful in a kitchen with limited spare surface area, though the right placement still depends on the size and shape of the area you want to cover.

Highlights

The cover measures 28 x 20 inches and is described as a natural rubber mat with a washable, flexible construction. The product listing presents it as portable and suitable for electric glass or ceramic stovetops, counters, tables, and several other surfaces. For storage, it can be folded or rolled, and two hooks are included for hanging. The stated heat resistance is up to 400°F (200°C), it should not be placed on active cookware.

Buyers also speak positively about perceived quality and everyday functionality, alongside the floral look. Those impressions are useful when weighing the design and intended role, but they do not replace the care instructions or establish how the mat will fit a particular cooktop. If a simple, visually neutral cover is your priority, a plain design may suit your kitchen better. It may not suit you if you need a cover that can remain over a working stove.

When it makes sense

Choose this YIKTI cover if the 28 x 20-inch footprint matches your surface and you want a floral mat that can protect a glass or ceramic cooktop when it is idle, then serve other countertop purposes as needed. Its washable, foldable format gives it practical uses beyond stove coverage, while the print makes it more decorative than a basic plain mat. Skip it for use on an active cooktop or where the stated heat precautions cannot be followed.
