YIKTI Blue Floral Stove Top Cover, 28 x 20 Inch Heat-Resistant Mat

If you want to protect a glass or ceramic cooktop when it is not in use, this blue floral cover adds a layer between the surface and everyday dust, grease, dirt, or scratches. Its pattern also brings a decorative touch to the kitchen.

The 28 x 20 inch mat is designed for electric stove tops, but it can also serve as a countertop or table mat. That flexibility matters if you want one surface protector for more than one spot.

It has additional uses as a dish-drying mat, coffee bar mat, pet feeding mat, or cover for a washer-dryer top. Those options make it more versatile than a cover intended only for a cooktop.

What stands out

The main appeal is the combination of cooktop coverage and everyday utility. At 28 x 20 inches, the mat provides a broad surface for a stove top, counter, or table. The blue floral print is a visible design choice, so it may suit a kitchen where a plain protective mat would feel out of place.

The product is described as natural rubber and flexible. As well as protecting a glass or ceramic stove top from dust, grease, dirt, and scratches, it can catch drips from dishes, glasses, fruit, or vegetables when used as a drying mat. It can also be placed under pet bowls, plant pots, or tools, according to the listed uses. Worth considering if you want a reusable mat that can move between kitchen tasks rather than a cover with only one purpose.

What to know

The listed heat resistance is up to 400°F (200°C), and the mat is also presented as a surface protector for hot cookware on countertops. That does not mean it should be placed on active cookware: the product details specifically say not to do so. They also advise against covering induction cooktops that exceed 450°F. Keep those cautions in mind when deciding where and how to use it, the stated heat resistance is not a substitute for following the product’s use restrictions.

The dimensions are worth comparing with your available surface before choosing it. The same 28 x 20 inch size may work on a cooktop or counter, but the listing does not give a range of sizes or a fit guide for particular appliances. You may want to skip it if you need a cover for use on active cookware or an induction cooktop that exceeds the stated limit.

Care & maintenance

For routine cleanup, wipe away spills or water droplets. For a more thorough rinse, the product can be rinsed under water. It is described as washable, though no machine-washing instructions are provided, so the listed care guidance is wiping or rinsing rather than laundering.

When it is not in use, the flexible mat can be folded or rolled for storage. Two included hooks offer another way to store it, which may be useful if counter or cabinet space is limited. Its portable design also makes it practical to move between the stove, counter, or another listed use, depending on how you use it.

Final verdict

This YIKTI cover is most relevant to shoppers who want to shield a glass or ceramic electric cooktop and would also use a large mat for drying dishes or protecting other surfaces. The floral print, washable material, and flexible storage options add practical detail beyond a basic stove cover. If your priority is a mat for countertops, pet bowls, or a coffee area, its listed alternate uses may be just as useful as its cooktop role. The heat guidance is specific, however, so it is not a catch-all cover for active cookware or every induction setup.
