YIKTI Heart Pattern Stove Top Cover, 28 x 20 Inch Natural Rubber Mat
Product description
The YIKTI 28 x 20-inch stove top cover is for households that want to shield an electric or glass-ceramic cooktop from dust, grease, dirt, and everyday scratches when it is not in use. Its heart-pattern print adds a decorative farmhouse accent, while the flexible natural-rubber material can also be used as a drying mat or general-purpose surface mat.
It is designed to do more than cover a stove, but it should not be placed over active cookware. The listed heat resistance is up to 400°F, and the product instructions also warn against covering induction cooktops that exceed 450°F.
Practical tips
Use the cover on an electric stovetop when the cooking surface is not in use, or spread it over a counter, table, or washer-dryer top where its larger format is useful. As a drying mat, it can catch drips from dishes, glasses, fruit, and vegetables, it can also serve as a mat for a coffee bar, pet feeding area, tools, or plant pots. Those extra uses make it more versatile than a stove-only cover, although its 28 x 20-inch size is still the key consideration when choosing where it will fit.
For cleanup, the listing says spills and water droplets can be wiped away, or the mat can be rinsed for a deeper clean. It is described as washable, flexible, and foldable. When it is not needed, roll or fold it for storage, or use the two included hooks to hang it. Keep its stated heat rating and the warning about active cookware in mind, heat resistance does not mean it should be used as a cover while cooking.
Where it shines
The broad rectangular format is useful when you want one mat to protect a cooktop and then move it to another surface for a different task. For example, it can cover the stove between meals and later catch water from washed produce or dishes. The printed design also makes it a more decorative choice than a plain utility mat, which may matter if the cover stays visible in the kitchen.
A smaller, single-purpose stove cover may suit a buyer who only wants a minimal covering surface. This YIKTI mat is more compelling when its extra uses and heart-pattern appearance are part of the appeal. Before choosing it, compare the 28 x 20-inch dimensions with the area you intend to cover, the listing provides the mat size, but not a separate fit guide for particular stove models.

Questions before you buy
Can it be used while cookware is active? No. The listing warns not to place it on active cookware, so use it as a cover when the stovetop is not in use.
How do you clean it? Wipe away spills or water droplets, or rinse it under water for a deeper clean, as described in the product details.
Can it be used for anything besides a stovetop? Yes. Listed uses include a dish-drying mat, coffee bar mat, pet feeding mat, tool mat, washer-dryer top mat, and plant pot mat.
Final verdict
A solid pick if you want a decorative, flexible cover that can also serve as a drying or utility mat, and the 28 x 20-inch format suits your surface. Better avoided if you need something to sit on active cookware: the listing rules that out, despite the stated heat resistance. Its strongest buying case is the combination of cooktop protection, easy-care material, and several alternative uses—not a promise that it fits every range.
