YIKTI Blue Bird Stove Top Cover, 28 x 20-Inch Heat-Resistant Rubber Mat
Product description
A 28 x 20-inch cover can give an electric cooktop a protected surface when it is not in use, while the blue bird and spring-flower print adds color to the kitchen. YIKTI describes it as a cover for glass or ceramic stovetops. It can also serve as a drying mat or countertop cover. Keep it off active cookware and follow the stated temperature limits.
Everyday use
This stove top cover is designed to help shield a glass or ceramic cooktop from dust, grease, dirt, and scratches while the surface is idle. Its size also makes it usable on a counter, table, or washer-dryer top, so it is not limited to stove storage. For example, it could cover a cooktop between meals, then be moved to the counter to catch drips from dishes or produce.
The flexible natural rubber construction is described as portable and washable. Spills and water droplets can be wiped away, or the mat can be rinsed for a deeper clean. It can also be used as a coffee bar mat, pet feeding mat, tool mat, or plant-pot mat. The blue bird and spring-flower design is a visible part of the choice: this is a printed kitchen accessory as well as a protective cover.
It suits you if you want one mat for an idle cooktop and other household surfaces. A dedicated, rigid stove cover would be a different approach, this one is soft and foldable, which is useful for storage but does not provide a hard work surface. The listing says two hooks are included for hanging storage.

What you’ll notice day to day
The large format is intended to cover a stovetop, but the listed dimensions are the key fit check: compare them with the surface you want to cover rather than assuming it will fit every range. The cover can be folded or rolled for storage, and the included hooks provide another storage option. Its multipurpose use may be more useful in a kitchen where counter protection or dish drying matters too, rather than one where a cover is needed only for a single appliance.
Heat resistance has a defined limit. The listing specifies up to 400°F (200°C), says not to place the mat on active cookware, and warns against covering induction cooktops that exceed 450°F. These points make it a cover for an idle surface, not a mat to leave beneath cookware while cooking. Not the best choice if you need a surface for active cooking or require dimensions other than 28 x 20 inches.
What to clarify
Can it stay on the cooktop while cooking? The product information says not to place it on active cookware, so remove it before using the stovetop.
How large is the cover? It measures 28 x 20 inches. Compare those measurements with the surface you want to protect.
How is it cleaned and stored? Wipe it down or rinse it with water. It can be folded or rolled, or hung using the two included hooks.
Is it worth it?
This YIKTI cover makes sense if you want a flexible, washable mat with a decorative print that can protect an idle electric cooktop and serve other countertop roles. Its stated heat resistance and size help define where it fits, but they are not a reason to use it on an active cooking surface. Choose it for adaptable coverage and easy storage, choose a different style of cover if you need a rigid platform or a different size.
