DREMUSOUD E008 Fingerprint Door Lock, Keypad, Auto-Lock and Aluminum Handle

Fingerprint access gives this DREMUSOUD smart door handle a convenient way to unlock a bedroom or home office without reaching for a key. It also offers keypad, IC card, app, and mechanical-key access, so you can choose the method that works for your routine.

The black aluminum handle has an auto-lock feature and is designed for standard US residential doors. Its multiple access options make it useful for a room where household members may prefer different ways to enter.

Practical tips

Check your door measurements before installation: the lock is compatible with backsets of 2-3/8 inches or 2-3/4 inches, a 2-1/8-inch cross-bore hole, and door thicknesses from 1-3/8 to 2-1/8 inches. The flip-up handle supports left- or right-opening doors. Installation uses a screwdriver and does not require drilling, according to the product details.

The lock runs on four AAA batteries, which are not included. A low-battery alarm provides a reminder, and the built-in USB-C emergency port can supply power from a power bank if the batteries run out. These details are useful to plan for when setting up a lock on a frequently used bedroom or office door.

What stands out

Fingerprint, privacy-password, IC-card, app, and mechanical-key access give this lock more flexibility than a keypad-only handle. The product lists capacity for up to 100 fingerprints and 50 passwords, making it suitable for assigning access to multiple household members. The listed fingerprint recognition time is 0.2 seconds, with unlocking in 1 second.

The auto-lock feature is useful when you want the door to lock after entry without relying on someone to turn the handle manually. Buyers also highlight the variety of unlocking methods and the straightforward installation instructions. Some mention appreciating app-based access, including temporary passwords, these are buyer observations, while the product specifications identify app control and privacy passwords as available functions.
