Valuetoner 302XL Compatible Black Ink Cartridges, 2-Pack, 550-Page Yield
Product description
If you need black ink for an Epson Expression Premium XP-6100 or XP-6000, this Valuetoner 302XL-compatible multipack is listed for both printer models. It includes two black cartridges, with a stated yield of up to 550 pages per cartridge at 5% coverage on A4 paper. One important caveat: the product information says a printer’s automatic update function may interrupt printing with compatible cartridges.

The key buying question is whether your printer is one of the listed models. The listing describes these as compatible cartridges, not Epson-branded cartridges, and says they use the latest chip version. That chip detail is a seller claim, so it’s sensible to treat the printer-model list as the main compatibility reference rather than assume support for other Epson printers.
Usage tips
Before ordering, match your printer’s exact model number against the supported list, similar names alone don’t establish compatibility. If you use automatic printer updates, note the stated risk of interruptions with compatible cartridges. The listing recommends disabling automatic updates to avoid unexpected issues, although that may not suit every user’s update preferences.
For routine home or office printing, a two-cartridge pack means a replacement is on hand when the first cartridge runs out. The stated page yield is an estimate tied to 5% coverage on A4 paper, so actual results depend on how much ink your documents use. Text-heavy pages and graphics with more coverage won’t necessarily match that estimate. Compared with buying a single cartridge at a time, this pack provides two black cartridges together, it does not include color ink.
What’s included
The pack contains two 302XL-compatible black ink cartridges. No additional supplies are listed. This makes the contents straightforward if you only need black replacements, but it isn’t a complete color-ink set for a printer that also needs other cartridges.
Practical questions
Will these cartridges work with an XP-6100? The listing names the Epson Expression Premium XP-6100 and XP6100 as compatible. It also lists the XP-6000 and XP6000. Check your exact printer model before choosing.
How many pages can I expect from each cartridge? The stated yield is up to 550 pages per cartridge at 5% coverage on A4 paper. Treat that as a reference, not a guaranteed count for every mix of documents.
Could a printer update affect use? The listing warns that automatic updates may interrupt printing with compatible cartridges and recommends disabling that function. Consider that trade-off if keeping automatic updates enabled matters to you.
Final verdict
A solid pick if you need two black cartridges for one of the specifically listed printers and are comfortable with a compatible, non-Epson cartridge. You may want to skip it if your printer model isn’t listed, you need color ink in the same pack, or you prefer not to change automatic update settings. The useful distinction here is simple: this is a two-cartridge black-ink replacement pack, with compatibility and update considerations to weigh before purchase.
