950XL/951XL Compatible Ink Cartridges 4-Pack

Home-office users and small businesses with a listed OfficeJet Pro printer may find this compatible ink set useful for routine black-and-color printing. It includes one black cartridge and three color cartridges: cyan, yellow, and magenta.

The XL format is aimed at people who print often enough to want a cartridge set rather than replace colors one at a time. The stated page yields can help with planning, but they depend on how much ink each page uses.

This is a compatible replacement, not an OEM product. If sticking with the original manufacturer’s cartridges matters more than buying a compatible set, that distinction is worth weighing before you choose.

How to use it

The cartridges are listed for OfficeJet Pro 8600, 8600 Plus, 8610, 8615, 8616, 8620, 8625, 8630, 8640, 8660, 8100, 8110, 251DW, 271DW, and 276DW printers. Match your exact printer model to that list before ordering, a similar model name alone is not enough to confirm compatibility.

Once installed, the set is intended for everyday documents as well as color graphics and photos. Picture printing a work report with black text, a few colored charts, and a photo page: having all four ink colors in one pack means you can replace the black and color cartridges from the same set. The description says the cartridges use a chip for ink-level monitoring, though it does not specify how the printer will display that information in every situation.

Pros

• One black 950XL cartridge and three 951XL color cartridges are included, covering the standard black, cyan, magenta, and yellow set.
• The stated yields are up to 2,300 Letter pages for black and up to 1,600 Letter pages for each color cartridge, based on 5% coverage. Heavier graphics or photo printing use more ink, without that measurement, comparing your own print volume with the estimate is difficult.
• The listing describes airtight packaging and ink intended to reduce leaks, clogging, and streaking, with sharp text and vivid color as its goals. These are product claims, not a guarantee for every printer or print job.

You’ll appreciate it if you want a four-cartridge compatible replacement for a printer on the supported-model list and are comfortable choosing non-OEM ink. It may not suit you if your printer is not listed or you specifically want manufacturer-branded cartridges.

Spec sheet

Type: Compatible ink cartridge set. Format: Four cartridges—one black 950XL and three 951XL colors (cyan, magenta, and yellow). The stated yields are up to 2,300 Letter pages for black and up to 1,600 Letter pages per color cartridge at 5% coverage. The package description identifies the set as compatible, not OEM.

When it makes sense

Choose this set when your exact OfficeJet Pro model appears in the compatibility list and you need black and color ink together for a mix of documents, graphics, or photos. The listed XL yields may be useful if you print regularly, but they are estimates tied to light page coverage rather than a promise of a fixed number of pages for every user.

If you print only occasionally, replace a single color at a time, or prefer to avoid compatible cartridges, a different purchasing approach may fit your needs better. For a listed printer and someone comfortable with a non-OEM replacement, this pack makes the most sense as a ready-to-use set of all four colors, confirm the model match first.
