Mr. Pen LAUX012M541VQ Retractable Gel Pens, 12-Pack, 0.7 mm Multicolor
Product description
The retractable design keeps each pen ready for quick notes, while the 0.7 mm fine point gives you a precise line for writing and planning. This Mr. Pen set includes assorted colorful gel inks, a comfortable grip, and fast-drying ink—a practical combination for a desk, school bag, or journal.
Rather than carrying a single-color everyday pen, you can use the assorted inks to separate notes or add color to a planner. The listed ink is not water resistant, so these pens are better suited to routine writing than to notes that must withstand moisture.

The retractable format means there is no cap to remove before writing, and the grip is intended to provide control during longer sessions. The fine point suits compact handwriting and detailed notes. Buyers also mention smooth ink flow, vivid colors, and a comfortable grip, some describe the ink as resistant to smudging. Those are user impressions, not a guarantee for every paper or writing style, and the stated lack of water resistance remains important if you need durable records.
Best use cases
These pens fit everyday tasks such as class notes, office lists, journaling, and planning, especially when color helps distinguish topics or mark priorities. For example, a student could use different ink colors for headings and reminders, while keeping the retractable pens together in a pencil case. The 0.7 mm point offers more precision than a broad marker, but this is still a gel pen set rather than a specialized tool for permanent or archival writing.
Customer feedback is generally favorable about smooth writing, bright colors, and grip comfort during extended use. That may help if you prefer a softer-feeling hold to a basic, unpadded pen. Feedback also mentions quick drying and reduced smearing, but drying results can depend on the paper and how you write, so left-handed users should not treat that as a no-smear promise.
Included in the package
The product is listed as a 12-pack of retractable gel pens with assorted colorful ink. The available details do not specify the exact color lineup or whether every pen has a different ink color, so choose it for a multicolor assortment rather than a particular shade combination.
What to clarify
Are these pens suitable for small, detailed notes? The 0.7 mm fine point is intended for precise writing and note-taking, making it a reasonable fit for planners and compact notes.
Will the ink stand up to water? No. The listed water-resistance level is not water resistant, so avoid relying on it for labels or records that may get wet.
Do the pens need to be capped? They are retractable, so the writing point can be extended and retracted without a separate cap.
When it makes sense
It makes sense if you want a 12-pack of retractable pens for everyday writing and value having assorted ink colors, a fine point, and an ergonomic grip in one set. It may not suit you if your notes need water-resistant ink or you need a confirmed, specific color assortment. For general school, office, and journaling use, the set offers more color flexibility than a basic single-color pen without moving into a more specialized writing product.
