Uniwork Remanufactured Ink Cartridges 5-Pack

The five-cartridge mix includes two black cartridges and one each of cyan, magenta, and yellow, so you can replace several colors in one go instead of piecing together a set. That’s useful when a home printer handles both everyday documents and occasional color pages.

The cartridges are remanufactured replacements for Epson 220/220XL cartridges. The listed yield is up to 500 pages per black cartridge and 450 per color cartridge, based on 5% page coverage.

You’ll appreciate it if your printer is one of the models listed below and you want a ready-made set with extra black ink. Without having tried it, the practical buying question is whether the stated compatibility and coverage assumptions match your printing habits.

Best use cases

This set is aimed at owners of compatible WorkForce and Expression Home printers who need to restock black and color together. Picture printing a school form with a color chart, then switching to plain black text for household paperwork: the pack supplies both types of ink without requiring separate color-by-color shopping.

It may also suit a household where black documents are used more often than color pages, since the package contains two black cartridges. That is a difference from buying only a color set, though the description does not specify how long the cartridges will last in your particular printer or print routine. The page-yield figures are estimates at 5% coverage, so pages with dense graphics or heavy color use may not reflect those figures.

Before ordering, match your printer’s model number to this list, the description does not establish compatibility with other Epson models. Installation calls for removing the yellow tape and placing each cartridge in its corresponding slot. The seller also advises against touching the chip or squeezing the cartridge sides.

Where it shines

The practical appeal is convenience: one pack covers all four ink colors and includes a second black cartridge. If you are replacing an empty black cartridge but also want color ink on hand, that mix can make more sense than buying cartridges individually. What matters more for your setup: having the full color range ready, or buying only the specific cartridge you need? The answer depends on whether you expect to use all the included colors.

A key limitation is that the yield is tied to a 5% coverage estimate, not a promise for every document. Frequent photo-style or graphic-heavy printing could use ink differently than routine text pages. This is also a remanufactured replacement set, so buyers specifically seeking original Epson cartridges should choose a different route.

Final verdict

Choose the Uniwork set if your printer appears in the compatibility list, you want both black and color replacements in one package, and the stated coverage-based yields suit your expectations. Better avoided if your model is not listed, you need only one particular color, or you specifically want original Epson cartridges. The two-black, three-color mix is the clearest reason to consider this pack, the coverage caveat is the main reason not to treat its page counts as a guaranteed result.
