UGREEN DXP4800 GT 4-Bay NAS with Ryzen R2514, Dual 10GbE and 8GB DDR4

For a creator moving large video files or a small team sharing project folders, the UGREEN DXP4800 GT brings storage, backups, and network access together in one desktop NAS. Its Ryzen Embedded R2514 processor, 8GB of DDR4 memory, and dual 10GbE ports are designed for demanding file workflows, while four drive bays and two M.2 slots give you room to build a shared storage setup around your needs.

Use it as a central home for work files, photos, media, and smart home data. The diskless configuration lets you choose and install the drives for your own storage plan, and UGOS Pro provides guided setup and tools for managing files, backups, apps, and users.

Who it’s for

This NAS is aimed at content creators, tech enthusiasts, and office teams that need shared storage for sizable files and active projects. A creator can import camera footage directly through the built-in SD card slot, then organize it on the NAS and work with files over a compatible high-speed network. USB-A and USB-C ports rated at 10Gbps provide additional ways to transfer media and other files.

For a household, the DXP4800 GT can bring photos, videos, and other data together instead of spreading them across individual computers and external drives. Its app ecosystem supports access and management across phones, tablets, computers, and TVs. Smart home and self-hosting users can also explore Docker, virtual machines, and supported surveillance-camera workflows from the same system.

Pros

Dual 10GbE networking is a key reason to choose this model for large transfers and shared work. Each port supports up to 10Gbps, with link aggregation and compatible network equipment, the two ports can provide up to 20Gbps of aggregate bandwidth. That makes the DXP4800 GT a more network-focused choice than a basic single-drive setup, particularly when multiple users or large media files are part of the workflow.

UGOS Pro combines file management, backups, search, and app support. Docker and virtual machines open up additional self-hosted uses, while Plex can run through Docker with manual setup. For surveillance, the built-in Surveillance Center works with compatible ONVIF or RTSP cameras and includes live multi-view, PTZ control, event detection, recording, and timeline playback. This offers a way to manage supported camera footage alongside other locally stored data.

Buyer feedback highlights performance, straightforward setup, and the device’s build. Some customers also mention using a Windows virtual machine, a practical example of the NAS serving more than file storage. These reports reflect individual experiences, the system’s documented specifications provide the clearest guide to its capabilities.
