SANSUI ES-G27C1Q 27-Inch Curved WQHD Gaming Monitor, 200Hz, FreeSync
Product description
Choosing a gaming display often means deciding between a straightforward flat screen and a curved model built around fast refresh rates. The SANSUI ES-G27C1Q pairs a 27-inch, 2560 x 1440 display with a 1500R curve and refresh rates up to 200Hz. FreeSync and gaming-focused on-screen tools add practical options for play and everyday viewing.
Who it’s for
This monitor suits a desk setup where sharper WQHD resolution and high refresh rate are both priorities. The 16:9 screen gives games and entertainment a familiar widescreen format, while its 1500R curve brings the display into a curved viewing profile. For a gaming-focused setup, the combination of up to 200Hz refresh and MPRT 1ms response time makes those performance specifications a central part of the choice.
The matte screen finish helps keep the display surface less reflective than a glossy finish, and the 178-degree viewing angle gives flexibility when viewing from different positions. A tilt-adjustable stand supports a range of desk setups, and VESA 100 x 100mm compatibility offers another mounting option. It suits you if you want a curved WQHD display with gaming features rather than choosing a monitor based only on screen size.
What stands out
FreeSync adaptive sync is designed for gaming use, and the monitor also includes CrossHair, Timer, and Shadow Booster (black-level adjustment) options. These provide different on-screen tools to tailor the display to a game or viewing preference. HDR support, 120% sRGB, 90% DCI-P3, a 5000:1 contrast ratio, and 300-nit brightness round out the picture features for games and entertainment.
The connection options give you a choice of two HDMI 2.0 ports and two DisplayPort 1.4 ports. DisplayPort supports refresh rates up to 200Hz, while HDMI supports up to 144Hz, making the connection type a practical consideration when planning a setup. An earphone output is available, the monitor does not have built-in speakers.
Buyers often praise the crisp picture, color, appearance, and straightforward setup. Feedback is more mixed on connectivity, and some buyers report concerns about screen durability. Those impressions can help inform a purchase, while the listed display specifications and connection details describe the monitor’s features directly.
