The New Scooby-Doo Movies: The (Almost) Complete Collection DVD
Product description
Settle in for animated mysteries where Scooby and the Mystery Inc. gang share the screen with celebrity guest stars. This DVD collection brings together comedy, family entertainment, and supernatural investigations. Its 16 hours and 26 minutes of runtime make it a substantial choice for revisiting the series over multiple viewing sessions.
Why it’s worth it
The appeal is the guest-star format: familiar mystery-solving adventures are joined by celebrity characters, with the celebrities’ real voices featured in animated form. That gives the episodes a different flavor from Scooby-Doo stories focused only on the regular gang, while keeping the mystery-and-comedy mix at the center. It suits a relaxed family movie night, a nostalgic rewatch, or a longer-running Scooby-Doo marathon.
Choosing a collection like this is a convenient alternative to seeking out episodes individually. The DVD format brings the programs together for home viewing, and the generous runtime gives fans plenty to revisit without making this a single-sitting commitment. The set is rated NR and is listed in the comedy, kids and family, and mystery and suspense genres.
What matters most
The collection is in NTSC DVD format, and the listed language is English. Its 16 hours and 26 minutes of runtime are useful for planning viewing across several sessions, whether the episodes are enjoyed in sequence or picked out for a family get-together. The central draw is the combination of the Mystery Inc. gang, supernatural sightings, and guest appearances by comedy stars and teams.
Buyers often praise the collection as entertaining and enjoy adding the classic Scooby-Doo series to a home library. Some also appreciate the picture quality. Opinions differ on how complete the set is: while the title describes it as “Almost Complete,” some buyers point to expected content they believe is missing, including the Addams Family episode. That distinction matters most to collectors choosing it specifically to assemble every crossover, rather than viewers mainly looking for a broad selection of guest-star mysteries.
Usage tips
Plan viewing around the collection’s full runtime rather than treating it as a short feature. For a family session, choosing an episode or two lets viewers enjoy the comic mysteries without needing to commit to a marathon, for longtime fans, the longer format supports revisiting several guest appearances in one stretch. Use a DVD player that supports NTSC DVDs for playback. The English-language listing makes the language choice clear when selecting this set for a household or collection.
