It: Chapter Two D740298D DVD, NTSC Horror and Thriller
Product description
The DVD format makes It: Chapter Two a physical movie pick for a home horror collection. The NTSC release presents the story as a feature-length follow-up set in Derry, Maine.
Nearly three decades after the events of the first film, the characters have gone their separate ways. When evil returns to Derry, they come together again as adults.
With a runtime of 2 hours and 49 minutes, this installment suits a dedicated movie night. Its horror and suspense elements carry the story from the characters’ reunion through their return to the town.
Everyday use
Choose this disc to continue the story after the first It film, or to add a supernatural horror title to a movie collection. The adult characters’ reunion gives the sequel a clear connection to what came before, making it a natural follow-up for viewers who want to see what happens when the group returns to Derry. It can also work as a longer feature for a planned movie night, with English and Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1 audio options.
The cast includes Bill Hader, Chosen Jacobs, Isaiah Mustafa, James McAvoy, and Jessica Chastain. Customer reactions to the film are divided: some enjoy the performances and the way the story brings the characters back together, while others are less taken with the pacing, scares, or ending. That range of reactions makes the film a good fit for viewers drawn to its cast, its connection to the first chapter, and its horror-thriller premise rather than a particular promise about how frightening it will feel.
Why it’s worth it
This release brings a substantial sequel together with a recognizable ensemble and a story built around the characters’ return as adults. Compared with choosing a standalone horror film, this one offers a direct continuation of the Derry storyline, it makes the most sense when you want to revisit that setting and follow the characters beyond the first film. The extended runtime gives the reunion and return their own feature-length space, while the available audio tracks let viewers choose between English and Spanish playback.
It suits you if you’re looking for a DVD sequel with horror and suspense, want to continue the story after Chapter One, or are collecting the film in a physical format. The R rating is useful context when choosing a movie for a household or group viewing.
