Smiry FLRCWDZ08 Waterproof Dog Couch Cover, Washable Flannel, Non-Slip

Choosing between a full sofa slipcover and a removable protective layer depends on how much of the furniture you want to cover. The Smiry FLRCWDZ08 adds a washable layer for pet areas in a khaki flannel finish. Its waterproof inner membrane helps shield sofa fabric from spills and pet moisture. Non-slip grip dots underneath help hold it in place during everyday use.

Key points

The cover combines soft polyester flannel with a quilted, multi-layer construction. That surface creates a comfortable spot for dogs while helping protect upholstery from fur, stains, and direct contact with claws. The inner TPU membrane is designed to keep liquid from seeping through to the sofa, making the cover useful for everyday pet lounging and accidental spills.

Grip dots on the underside hold against fabric without adhesives, and an elastic closure helps secure the cover. These details are intended to reduce shifting when pets climb on and off. Customer feedback is positive about the cover’s appearance, cleaning, and protective role, opinions differ on how securely it stays in place and whether the size feels as expected.

Fit and sizing

This rectangular cover measures 63" D x 36" W x 1" H and comes in khaki. It is sold individually, so you can place it where protection is most useful—on a seat, backrest, or armrest—rather than covering every part of a sofa with one piece. The listed uses also include couches, windows, car areas, floors, camping, dog crates, and patio furniture.

Measure the surface you want to cover and compare it with the listed dimensions before choosing a placement. For larger furniture, including sectionals, L-shaped couches, loveseats, and three-seat sofas, consider which individual areas need coverage and how many separate pieces would suit your setup. This makes the cover a practical choice for targeted protection, while a full slipcover serves a different need when you want to cover the entire sofa.

Everyday use

Place the cover on a favorite pet resting spot to create a washable barrier between paws and upholstery. The flannel surface offers a soft place to lounge, while the waterproof layer helps protect the furniture from surface spills and pet moisture. If liquid lands on the cover, wipe it away promptly, the product is designed to help keep seepage from reaching the sofa.

For care, machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold water. Line dry or tumble dry on low heat, and do not bleach. This straightforward routine suits a cover used regularly in pet areas. Buyers also describe it as easy to clean and like its appearance, making it a useful protective layer that can stay in view in a living space.
