Smiry FLRCWDZ05 Dog Couch Cover, Washable Polyester, Apricot, 27.6" x 59

Some pet-friendly couch protection is chosen for coverage, while comfort and an easy-care surface matter just as much in a shared living space. The Smiry FLRCWDZ05 is a soft, fuzzy polyester cover designed to help shield a sofa, loveseat, or sectional from everyday pet hair, scratches, and wear. Its apricot color and checkered pattern add a defined look, while the non-slip backing is designed to help keep the cover positioned during use.

At 27.6" x 59", this is a single-piece cover for targeted furniture protection. Use it on a favorite seating area, or place it on a car seat, floor, or window area as a comfortable spot for a pet.

Why it makes sense

The soft, thick fabric creates a cozy surface for pets to lounge on while adding a layer between claws and the furniture. The dense weave helps keep pet hair from embedding in the cover, so routine cleanup can be as simple as using a lint roller or vacuum. It’s also machine washable, giving you a practical way to refresh the cover after regular use.

The anti-slip backing is intended to grip sofa fabric and genuine leather, helping the cover stay in place as pets settle in or move around. Buyers often praise the softness and protective feel, while feedback on how securely it stays positioned is mixed. A few also mention seams coming undone, so care instructions are useful for keeping the cover in regular rotation.

Highlights

Made from polyester, the cover combines a soft, fuzzy feel with practical features for a pet household: anti-slip backing, anti-pilling and anti-wrinkle properties, and a washable design. The rectangular shape and apricot checkered finish suit a living room setting, while the same piece can also serve as a car seat pad, floor mat, or window cushion.

The listed size is 27.6" x 59", and the cover is sold as one piece rather than a complete sofa set. For an L-shaped or sectional sofa, the product information recommends using multiple pieces. Is a comfortable surface that also helps protect a well-used seat the main goal? This format is made for covering a particular area, rather than dressing an entire sectional with one piece.

How to take care of it

For everyday pet hair, use a lint roller or vacuum. For a deeper clean, machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle and place the cover in a mesh laundry bag to help protect the seams. Avoid fabric softener, and tumble dry on low to help preserve the non-slip backing. The cover is not waterproof, so use it as a breathable furniture protector rather than a barrier against spills.

When it makes sense

It’s a great fit if you want a soft, washable layer for a pet’s usual spot on a sofa, loveseat, or sectional, with additional uses on a car seat, floor, or window. Choose it for targeted coverage in a single 27.6" x 59" piece, and use multiple pieces when you need to cover more of a sectional. Its combination of a cozy polyester surface and a non-slip backing makes it a practical choice for everyday lounging and furniture protection.
