Smiry FLRCWDZ02 Couch Cover, 27.6" x 88" Washable Polyester Protector

Homes with dogs, cats, or busy family routines need a practical way to protect favorite seating from fur, dirt, and everyday messes. The Smiry FLRCWDZ02 is a soft polyester couch cover with a slip-resistant design, a checkered pattern, and a machine-washable finish for regular use around pets.

Its 27.6" depth and 88" width make it a defined cover for couches and other lounging spots. The apricot color and tidy pattern offer a more finished look than draping a basic blanket over the furniture. What makes a cover easier to live with day to day? A soft feel, a backing designed to reduce shifting, and simple machine-wash care all help make it useful in a pet-friendly home.

The essentials

This rectangular sofa protector is made from polyester and designed to help keep fur, muddy paw marks, and everyday dirt off furniture. Its soft surface gives pets a comfortable place to settle, while the checkered apricot fabric brings a more intentional look to the room. Anti-pilling and anti-wrinkle features support a neat appearance, and the washable construction makes routine care straightforward.

Compared with using an ordinary throw, this cover is specifically designed for furniture protection and has a slip-resistant backing to help reduce movement during everyday lounging. It can be used on leather or fabric couches. The cover is not water resistant, so its role is to help protect against surface messes such as fur and dirt rather than serve as a waterproof barrier. Buyers commonly praise its appearance, fit, and washability. Feedback is mixed on how securely it stays in place and how well it holds up over time, so results can vary with use.

Fit and sizing

The cover measures 27.6" deep by 88" wide, with a listed height of 1.5". Compare those dimensions with the area of the sofa you want to cover, especially if you plan to tuck fabric along the seat or sides. Its rectangular shape suits a range of furniture surfaces, and the listed uses also include loveseats, recliners, beds, pet resting areas, car seats, floors, and windows.

Usage tips

For a cleaner fit, center the cover over the seating area and position its slip-resistant backing against the upholstery. On a couch, adjust the fabric across the seat and along the back or sides to cover the areas your pet uses most. The measured width and depth are useful when deciding whether it will cover the intended portion of a sofa or another surface.

When it needs cleaning, machine wash it according to its care instructions. Regular washing can help remove accumulated pet hair and dirt, making the cover practical for a pet’s favorite lounging spot or a family sofa used throughout the day. You’ll appreciate it if you want a soft, patterned furniture layer that is designed for routine machine washing.

What to clarify

Can the cover be machine washed? Yes. Machine washing is the stated care method, which makes it convenient to clean after everyday use.

Does it protect against spills? It is not water resistant. It is intended to help protect furniture from fur, dirt, and everyday surface messes, rather than block liquid.

Can it be used somewhere besides a couch? Yes. Listed uses include loveseats, recliners, beds, pet resting areas, car seats, floors, and windows, so it can cover other everyday spots where pets relax.

When it makes sense

The Smiry FLRCWDZ02 suits pet owners who want a soft, washable layer for a couch or another lounging surface, with a more finished look than a loose everyday throw. Its polyester fabric, slip-resistant design, and 27.6" x 88" dimensions give you practical details for choosing a cover that fits your furniture-protection routine.
