Smiry Fall Couch Cover for Dogs, Washable Non-Slip Rust Sofa Protector, 27.6" x 70.9
Product description
Best use cases
A dog’s favorite spot on the couch can be more comfortable and easier to protect with this soft, fuzzy Smiry cover. Its rust-colored polyester fabric creates a defined lounging area while helping shield furniture from pet hair, scratches, and everyday wear. Use it on a sofa, loveseat, or a selected section of a larger couch. If you want to cover one seating area, this single-piece protector offers a focused alternative to dressing the entire sofa, an L-shaped or sectional sofa needs multiple pieces for broader coverage.
The cover can also serve as a pad for a car seat, window, floor, or pet crate. Its plush feel suits pets settling in for a nap, while the washable construction makes routine cleanup practical. It is not waterproof, so choose it for a soft, breathable furniture layer rather than as a barrier against liquid spills.

What you’ll notice day to day
The fuzzy surface gives pets a comfortable place to rest and adds a soft layer between paws and upholstery. The dense weave is designed to help keep fur from embedding in the fabric, so a lint roller or vacuum can be used for regular cleanup. For a deeper clean, machine wash on a cold, gentle cycle. Avoid fabric softener, use low heat if tumble drying, and wash in a mesh laundry bag to help protect the seams and non-slip backing.
The non-slip backing is intended to grip sofa fabric and genuine leather. For a slick faux-leather surface, tucking the edges into the seat creases or adding a thin non-slip pad can help keep the cover in place. Buyer feedback highlights the softness, pet comfort, and furniture-protecting role, reports on how securely it stays put are mixed. Comments on durability are also mixed, with some buyers noting seam issues. These are individual experiences, not a guarantee of how the cover will perform in every home.
Is it worth it?
Worth considering if you want a washable, cushioned layer for a pet’s usual sofa spot and prefer to protect a specific area rather than use a full sofa cover. The 27.6" x 70.9" size gives you a clear reference for planning placement, and the rust color and checkered pattern add a visible accent to the furniture. For everyday lounging, it brings together a soft surface, a non-slip backing, and machine-washable care in one sofa protector.
