Smiry FLRCWDZ02 Couch Cover for Dogs, Non-Slip Washable Polyester, Apricot

A pet-friendly sofa cover should help manage everyday mess while still feeling comfortable in your living space. The Smiry FLRCWDZ02 adds a soft polyester layer in an apricot checkered pattern. Need a cover that works for lounging as well as protecting furniture? Its non-slip design and machine-washable care make it practical for busy homes with pets.

Key points

Designed for couches and sofas, this rectangular cover helps shield furniture from pet hair, dirt, muddy paws, drool, and daily wear. Its soft feel gives dogs and cats a comfortable place to settle, while the checkered pattern offers a more finished look than a plain protective layer. The non-slip backing is intended to help reduce shifting, and an elastic closure adds a securing feature. It is made of polyester and measures 27.6 inches deep by 82.7 inches wide, with a listed height of 1.5 inches. The color is apricot.

This is a furniture cover, not a waterproof barrier: its water-resistance level is listed as not water resistant. That distinction helps set expectations for everyday fur and dirt protection versus liquid spills. For a couch that gets regular use from pets or family members, the washable cover provides a removable layer that can be cleaned as needed.

Cleaning & care

The cover is machine washable, so routine care can be handled with a standard wash rather than spot-cleaning every small patch of dirt or fur. Follow the care instructions when laundering. Buyers often praise how easy it is to wash and keep clean, though experiences with durability after washing vary. Its washable construction is especially useful in homes where pets return to the same sofa day after day.

Everyday use

Place it across a couch or sofa to create a defined resting area for pets and help keep fur and everyday dirt off the upholstery. The listed recommended uses also include loveseats, recliners, beds, floors, windows, and car seats, making it useful beyond the main living-room sofa. For a relaxed evening, a dog can settle on the cover while people use the rest of the seating, when it needs freshening, the cover can be machine washed.

The non-slip design is intended to reduce movement, but buyer experiences on how securely it stays in place are mixed. Feedback is also positive about its appearance, fit, and pet-friendly feel. The 27.6-by-82.7-inch dimensions help shoppers compare the cover with the area they want to protect before placing it.
