Sepetrel RKP-15 15-Foot Telescoping Pool Pole, Aluminum, 1-1/4-Inch Connection

Made of aluminum, the Sepetrel RKP-15 adjusts from 3.4 to 15 feet for pool cleaning. Its 1-1/4-inch connection end is designed to accommodate most standard pool tools. Need one pole for several areas of the pool? The adjustable length lets you change the reach as the task calls for.

The essentials

This is a telescoping pole, not a complete cleaning kit. It is intended for use with pool tools such as a skimmer net, brush, or vacuum head, the product details do not establish that those attachments are included. That distinction matters if you are setting up pool maintenance from scratch rather than replacing a pole you already use with compatible tools.

The aluminum construction has a thickened interior wall and a non-corrugated design, while the surface receives an oxidation treatment. These are the listed construction details, not a guarantee against damage. Buyers often appreciate the adjustable length, light weight, and ease of handling, but feedback on durability and stability is mixed: some describe a sturdy pole, while others report breakage or an extension that does not stay tight. Opinions on value are also divided.

Quick sizing guide

The stated range runs from 3.4 to 15 feet, so you can use a shorter setting for nearby work and extend the pole when you need more reach. The maximum length may be useful for reaching farther across a pool, while the shorter setting is easier to manage for tasks close to the edge. A fixed-length pole is a simpler alternative if you always work at one reach, this model is more adaptable when cleaning jobs vary.

The connection end measures 1-1/4 inches and is described as fitting most standard pool tools. “Most” is not the same as every attachment, so check your tool’s connection before relying on a match, especially if it is nonstandard. The listed details do not specify a precise pole length for a particular pool size, so choose based on the reach your cleaning tasks require.

Best use cases

The RKP-15 is suited to routine pool care where you want to move between skimming, brushing, and vacuuming without switching to a different pole length for each area. For example, a pool owner could shorten it to work near the steps, then extend it to reach farther from the deck. Its adjustable format can also be useful when different people handle maintenance and prefer different working lengths.

It makes sense if you already have compatible pool attachments and want one adjustable aluminum pole for varied cleaning tasks. If your priority is a fixed, consistently short reach, a non-telescoping pole may be the more straightforward approach. The customer feedback on extension stability is worth weighing if you expect to keep it fully extended during demanding work.

When it makes sense

The main reason to choose this pole is its broad adjustment range paired with a connection designed for most standard pool tools. That gives it more flexibility than a basic fixed-length pole, without requiring a separate pole for each task. Not the best choice if you need confirmed performance from a fully extended lock or want certainty about long-term durability: buyer reports on both points vary, and the product details do not resolve that uncertainty. If your attachments use a standard connection and your cleaning routine benefits from changing reach, the RKP-15 fits that use case, otherwise, confirm the connection and consider whether a fixed-length option better matches your setup.
