Chryseos Pool Filter 200 sq. ft.
Product description
For pool owners replacing a filter element in a compatible System 2 modular media setup, this Chryseos filter is described as a replacement for 27002-0200S and PLM200. Its stated 200 sq. ft. filtration area gives you a clear starting point for comparing it with the part you’re taking out.
The fit is the deciding factor here. From the way it is set up, this is a replacement for named models, not a universal pool filter.
Key specifications
- Compatible with 27002-0200S, PLM200, and System 2 modular media
- Filtration area: 200 sq. ft.
- Dimensions: 13-3/4 in. long, 23-3/4 in. high, and 13-3/4 in. wide
- Chryseos is an independent brand, other manufacturers’ names and part numbers are used for compatibility identification
The measurements matter as much as the model reference. Before choosing a replacement, compare these dimensions with the filter currently installed and make sure the model number matches one of the stated compatibility references. The listing does not provide further details about the filter’s construction or package contents, so don’t assume it includes additional parts.
Who it’s for
This is aimed at someone who already knows they need a replacement for one of the compatible filter models and wants to match the stated filtration area and size. It makes sense if you’re replacing an existing element and can identify its model or compare its dimensions. For instance, if you have the old filter out during routine pool maintenance, you can check its label and measure it before ordering rather than relying on a general visual resemblance.
It might not be a great match if your current filter uses a different model or you can’t verify its size. Compatibility is listed for specific references, the description doesn’t establish a fit for other systems. If the label is missing and the measurements don’t line up, getting the exact replacement identified is a safer route than guessing.
Everyday use
The product is presented as easy to install and clean, which could make it relevant for someone handling a straightforward replacement and ongoing filter maintenance. In practical terms, that means swapping the old element and cleaning the replacement as part of regular pool care. The description doesn’t explain a cleaning method or provide maintenance intervals, so follow the guidance for your pool system rather than treating “easy to clean” as a complete care instruction.
Compared with buying a filter based only on a broad category or appearance, matching the model number and dimensions gives you a more dependable basis for the decision. On the other hand, shoppers who need installation instructions, detailed construction information, or confirmation for an unlisted model won’t find those details here.
Practical doubts
Which filters is it listed to replace? It is described as compatible with 27002-0200S, PLM200, and System 2 modular media. The listing does not confirm other model numbers.
What size should I compare with my current filter? The stated dimensions are 13-3/4 in. long, 23-3/4 in. high, and 13-3/4 in. wide. Check all three, along with the model reference, before choosing.
Does the description explain how to clean it? No cleaning steps or schedule are provided. It says the filter is easy to clean with proper maintenance, but you’ll need to use the guidance for your pool system.
When it makes sense
Choose this Chryseos replacement when your existing filter is identified as one of the listed compatible models and its measurements agree with the stated size. That gives you a concrete fit check and a 200 sq. ft. filtration-area reference. If the model is uncertain, the dimensions differ, or you need more detail about installation and care before buying, this listing leaves those questions open, identify the required part first rather than treating the compatibility note as universal.
