LIME POOL PSN-01 Pool Skimmer Net with Fine Mesh Bag and Weighted Edge

A fine-mesh skimmer can help scoop leaves and smaller debris from the water’s surface, while the deep bag gives debris room to collect as you work. The LIME POOL PSN-01 is designed for routine cleanup in pools and spas.

Its 17.5-inch-wide frame has a reinforced front edge with added weight to help guide the net underwater. The fine nylon mesh is intended to catch leaves, insects, and other debris.

If you’re choosing between a basic leaf rake and a finer-mesh net, this one is aimed at collecting smaller debris as well as leaves. Its pole holder fits standard 1-1/4-inch poles, but the pole is not included.

Key features

The fine mesh makes this net useful for everyday skimming when leaves or insects are mixed in with smaller debris. The deep bag can hold what it collects, while the reinforced, weighted front edge is designed to help control the net underwater. The listing says the frame is intended to glide without damaging pool liners, care is still sensible when working near a liner.

The net is listed for inground and above-ground pools, hot tubs, spas, and fountains. It can also be used to scoop debris from the bottom, though how well that works will depend on the debris and how you use the net. The product listing includes a three-year warranty against frame defects.

Buyer feedback is favorable about removing leaves and surface debris, and some purchasers describe the net as sturdy. Views on size and durability are less consistent: some say it suits their pool, while others find it smaller than expected, and some report breakage. That mixed feedback is worth weighing if long-term durability is a priority.

Fit and sizing

The frame is listed as 17.5 inches wide, and the holder is designed for standard 1-1/4-inch poles. A pole is not included, so you’ll need a compatible one for extended reach. The product name and feature details give different depths for the bag, so this description does not rely on a single depth figure.

For a practical cleanup, attach the net to a compatible pole and skim the surface to gather leaves and insects. The weighted front edge is also intended to help guide it underwater when collecting debris below the surface. Move it carefully around pool liners.

Who it’s for

This net may suit pool owners who want one tool for surface skimming and occasional debris removal below the surface, including in a hot tub or spa. It’s a more fine-mesh approach than a basic rake focused mainly on larger leaves. Worth considering if you already have a compatible pole and want a net that can collect smaller debris, too. It may not suit you if you need a complete ready-to-use set with a pole included.

Practical questions

Does the skimmer come with a pole? No. The listing says the pole is not included, the holder fits standard 1-1/4-inch poles.

What can the mesh collect? It is described for leaves, insects, and smaller debris, and the net is also intended for debris removal below the surface.

What does the warranty cover? The listing states a three-year warranty against frame defects. It does not provide further warranty terms here.

Final verdict

The PSN-01 combines a fine-mesh bag, a weighted front edge, and a standard-pole holder for routine pool or spa cleanup. Its versatility is useful if you want to collect more than large leaves, but remember that the pole is separate. Reports about size and durability vary, so consider those points alongside the listed frame-defect warranty before choosing it.
