Tech summary
The Sceptre C248B-FW180T combines a 24-inch LED display with a 1920 x 1080 native resolution and a matte screen surface. Its 1500R curve gives the display a more enveloping shape, while the slim, frameless design keeps the screen visually prominent and can work well in a multi-monitor layout. A 100% sRGB color gamut supports vivid color for games, streaming, and creative tasks.

The fast refresh rate and response time are useful for games with quick camera movement, while Adaptive-Sync is designed to coordinate the display with a compatible graphics card. Blue Light Shift offers a viewing comfort feature for longer sessions. For a different priority, such as a larger workspace for documents, choosing a larger display may make more sense than this compact gaming format.
Everyday compatibility
Two HDMI ports and two DisplayPort inputs make it practical to connect multiple video sources, such as a computer and another HDMI device, without relying on a single input. The monitor is listed for gaming, business, and entertainment, so it can move between play, everyday desktop tasks, and streaming. Its slim bezels also suit a desk where a second screen may be placed beside it.
Built-in speakers provide audio without adding separate speakers to the desk, and the audio-out jack gives you another way to connect audio equipment. Buyers commonly praise the picture and screen size, and some describe setup as straightforward. Feedback is mixed on compatibility, while comments about speaker sound are less positive, buyers also differ on the monitor’s adjustability. These impressions can help guide a setup choice, while the listed ports provide the clearest basis for planning connections.
Usage tips
For gaming, connect through HDMI or DisplayPort and select a supported refresh rate in your computer’s display settings to make use of the monitor’s high-refresh capability. Adaptive-Sync can be enabled where supported by the connected system. For everyday work or extended viewing, Blue Light Shift is available as a screen comfort feature. The matte surface suits a range of desk environments, and the built-in speakers are convenient when keeping the setup simple is more important than adding dedicated audio equipment.
