Gaozen Typewriter Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, 104 Round Keys, RGB, Red Switches
Product description
Bring a typewriter-inspired look to a gaming setup or desk with Gaozen’s wired mechanical keyboard. Its round keycaps and R-Black finish give the 104-key layout a distinctive retro style. Need one keyboard for work and play? RGB lighting and red mechanical switches add practical features for both.
How it fits
The keyboard connects through USB-A and is listed for use with PC. Its Dvorak layout makes it a fit for people who prefer that key arrangement, while compatibility is also listed for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android. The 104-key layout provides a full set of standard keys for everyday typing and gaming, and the ambidextrous design works for users regardless of hand preference.
Where it shines
Round, dual-injection molded keycaps give the board its typewriter-inspired character, while the plastic enclosure and non-slip chassis support a steady place on the desk. Red mechanical switches are described as smooth and quiet, making the keyboard suitable for extended typing as well as game sessions. Hot-swappable switches let users customize the mechanical setup.
RGB backlighting adds color to the workspace, with 13 preset effects that can be switched using Fn+Ins. The lighting can be used to personalize a desk or make the keyboard easier to distinguish in a gaming setup. Five game-key lighting functions highlight different groups of keys, including WASD and other commonly used controls.
Buyers often praise the appearance, lighting choices, and sound, and comments on brightness are mixed. The adjustable lighting gives users options for tailoring the look to their setup.
