Practical tips
For a workflow that relies on touch, use the display to navigate apps and web pages, the laptop also supports stylus input. When a task calls for more typing or number entry, switch to the keyboard and numeric keypad. Wi-Fi 6 provides wireless connectivity, while Bluetooth and the USB-C, USB-A, and HDMI ports let you connect compatible peripherals and an external display. The front-facing 720p HD camera supports video calls and online classes.
The main choice is between a touch-led way of working and a laptop experience centered on keyboard and trackpad input. This HP accommodates both, while the 15.6-inch screen gives documents, browser windows, and class materials room to share the display. Its natural silver finish and notebook form make it suitable for a desk at home, an office, or a study area.
Best use cases
For business tasks, the Ryzen 7 processor, 32GB RAM, Windows 11 Pro, and numeric keypad suit a mix of documents, spreadsheets, browsing, and everyday multitasking. Students can use the touchscreen for direct navigation and the front camera for online classes, with the SSD providing space for course files and applications. At home, the Full HD display and integrated Radeon graphics are well suited to browsing and video entertainment.
If a typical day moves between research, writing, spreadsheets, and video calls, the mix of direct touch input, a full-size keyboard, and wireless or wired connectivity provides several practical ways to work. For buyers comparing a conventional non-touch laptop with a touch-enabled model, the added screen interaction is useful when tapping through apps and pages is part of the routine.
