KOOTION 32GB Dual USB-A/USB-C Flash Drive, USB 3.2 Gen 1, Retractable, Green
Product description
With 32GB of storage, the KOOTION flash drive gives you a portable place for photos, videos, music, presentations, and documents. Its dual USB-A and USB-C connectors let you move files between devices that use either port, while the retractable design helps shield the connectors when you’re carrying it.
Choose it for switching files between different devices, a single-connector drive is better suited to a setup that uses only one port type.
Quick overview
This green USB flash drive combines USB-A and USB-C connections in one compact device. Use it to transfer or back up files across compatible phones, tablets, laptops, and other USB-A devices. USB 3.2 Gen 1 supports file transfers, and plug-and-play operation makes it straightforward to connect and get started.
A keychain hole makes it easy to attach the drive to keys or a backpack for everyday carry. The retractable cover helps protect the connectors from dirt and damage while it’s on the move. Buyers have mixed opinions about reliability and quality: some say the drive works well, while others report connectivity or quality concerns.
How it fits
The two connector types make this drive useful when your devices don’t all share the same port. For example, you can use USB-C with compatible iPhone 15, 16, and 17 series phones, Android smartphones, tablets, or laptops, then connect USB-A to other compatible equipment. Supported device and operating-system listings include Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, Smart TVs, car audio systems, and game consoles.
That flexibility suits a household, school, or work routine involving a mix of USB-C and USB-A devices. If you mainly need portable space for a phone, keep photos or videos on the drive, for a presentation, carry documents between a tablet and a laptop. The 32GB capacity gives you a defined amount of storage for the files you want close at hand.
How to use it
Extend the connector you need, plug it into a compatible device, and transfer or back up the files you want to carry. Use USB-C for a compatible USB-C port and USB-A for a compatible USB-A port. The plug-and-play design supports getting started without a separate setup step described for everyday file transfers.
When you’re finished, retract the connector and use the keychain hole to keep the drive with your keys or bag. This makes it practical for carrying documents between locations or keeping selected media available across devices, rather than relying on a drive built for just one connector type.
