Sceptre E345B-QU180D 34-Inch Ultrawide Gaming Monitor, 3440 x 1440, 180Hz
Product description
A wider workspace serves a different need than a screen focused on a single task. The Sceptre E345B-QU180D pairs a 34-inch, 21:9 display with 3440 x 1440 resolution, giving games, movies, and creative projects more horizontal room.
For gaming, its refresh rate of up to 180Hz and 1ms response time are designed for fast-moving visuals. Adaptive Sync and custom FPS and RTS display modes add features tailored to gaming.
For everyday work and entertainment, the ultrawide format can show multiple windows, spreadsheets, or editing timelines side by side. Built-in speakers and a matte screen finish round out a setup designed for more than gaming alone.
Key takeaways
The 34-inch flat LED display uses a VA panel and a 21:9 aspect ratio, with a maximum resolution of 3440 x 1440. That combination gives you a broad view for games and cinematic video, while providing room to arrange work across the screen. The matte finish helps keep the display suited to varied everyday viewing.
Gaming features include a refresh rate of up to 180Hz, a 1ms response time, Adaptive Sync, and custom FPS and RTS modes. These settings are aimed at smooth, responsive play and let you choose a mode built around the type of game you’re playing. Blue-Light Shift, a blue-light filter, and flicker-free technology support a more comfortable viewing setup during longer sessions.
The monitor has two HDMI ports and two DisplayPort connections. Its built-in speakers provide an audio option without adding separate speakers to the desk, and the audio-out jack offers another connection choice. A wall-mount pattern supports arranging the display to suit your space.
How to use it
Connect a gaming system or computer through HDMI or DisplayPort, then select the display mode that fits your activity. Choose an FPS or RTS mode for those game genres, or use the wide workspace for a spreadsheet, multiple open windows, or a video-editing timeline. The blue-light and flicker-free features are available for everyday viewing. For a wall-mounted setup, use the monitor’s wall-mount pattern to plan its placement.
Usage tips
The 21:9 layout is especially useful when a task benefits from seeing more across the screen at once. For example, you can keep a timeline and editing tools visible together, or arrange reference material alongside a working document. In games and movies, the ultrawide format creates a broad viewing area. Select HDMI or DisplayPort based on the device connection you’re using, and use the built-in speakers for a streamlined desk setup.
Buyer feedback is positive about the picture, screen quality, appearance, and value. Comments on performance and color are mixed, while some buyers criticize the built-in speakers and audio quality. The speakers offer convenient integrated audio, with an audio-out jack available for another audio setup.
