How to use it

Set the box up as a covered litter area and use the included scoop for routine waste removal. The 12-inch-high sides are designed to help contain litter from digging and urine from cats that pee while standing. The overlapping edge design helps keep urine inside the box rather than allowing it to seep through the seams.

The smooth stainless steel surface does not absorb cat urine and odors, and its non-stick bottom is designed for easier cleaning. Wipe or rinse the base as needed. Non-slip pads on the bottom help keep the box from shifting, and the rounded edges provide a finished surface around the box.

Best use cases

The XXX-Large interior is suited to bigger cats, including Maine Coons and Ragdolls, as well as homes with multiple cats. Its width and length give cats room to turn around, while the high-sided layout accommodates digging and helps keep scattered litter within the box. For households replacing a standard plastic pan, the stainless steel base offers a smooth, non-absorbent alternative that is straightforward to clean.

Buyers often highlight the generous space, easy cleaning, and the way the tall sides help contain litter. They also appreciate the metal surface, which they find less prone to litter sticking than plastic. These points make the design especially relevant when cleanup and litter containment are priorities alongside room for a larger cat.

Is it worth it?

This Pematar box brings together a roomy covered design, stainless steel construction, and tall overlapping sides in one litter setup. It is a practical fit for owners who need more space than a compact pan provides and want a surface that can be wiped or rinsed clean. For larger cats, active diggers, or a multi-cat household, the broad interior and elevated sides make day-to-day litter care easier to manage.
