vivirata 4073D Automatic Self-Cleaning Litter Box with App Control

Some cat households want a straightforward litter box they can manage by hand, others prefer automatic cleaning and app-based updates as part of the daily routine. The vivirata 4073D is designed for the second approach, combining automatic waste removal with dual safety sensors and app controls for a more managed litter area.

Its gray, lidded design is made from ABS and includes a mat and two rolls of garbage bags. Use the app to check the litter box’s status and litter level, review usage frequency, and select settings that suit your household.

Best use cases

The infrared and weight sensors pause operation when a cat enters, adding a safety-focused layer to automatic cleaning. Once your cat leaves, the box waits for clumping before cleaning. App controls let you set clumping time and choose Kitten Mode or Sleep Mode, while status updates show whether a cat is inside, cleaning is underway, or the unit is on standby.

For households that want more than a manual scooping routine, the sealed waste drawer, full-bin reminders, and usage tracking bring several everyday tasks into one system. The app records bathroom frequency and offers daily, monthly, and yearly statistics, which can help you keep an eye on changes in your cat’s routine. The litter box can also operate without Wi-Fi, so automatic cleaning and its sensors remain available when it is not connected to the app.

Usage tips

After adding litter, press and hold the cleaning button for three seconds to reset the weight reading. The built-in sensor pauses operation if it detects a sudden increase of more than 1 kg, so resetting after a refill supports normal operation. In the app, allow Smart Life notifications on your phone to receive alerts for a full waste drawer, a loose bonnet, completed cleaning, or an activated cat-protection pause.

The components are washable except for the base, making it easier to clean the parts that come into contact with litter. Assembly and disassembly are designed to be simple, and the included instructions and installation video guide setup. A practical placement keeps the unit accessible for your cat while leaving room to open the waste drawer for bag changes.

When it makes sense

Choose this model if you want automatic litter-box cleaning with app-based status checks rather than relying entirely on manual scooping. It brings safety pauses, selectable modes, waste-drawer alerts, and routine tracking together for households that value both convenience and visibility into litter-box use. Buyers commonly highlight easy assembly, cleaning, quiet operation, and odor control, feedback on size is mixed, with some finding it suitable for medium-sized cats and others preferring more room. The listed dimensions offer a useful reference when planning where to place it. For a household seeking a connected, self-cleaning setup with practical monitoring features, the vivirata 4073D puts those functions in one covered litter box.
