peluasua peluasua4 Retractable Baby Gate, 70-Inch Wide Mesh Barrier
Product description
The retractable mesh design creates a barrier across openings up to 70 inches wide, then rolls away when you want to pass through. At 33 inches tall, this black gate can help separate children and pets from kitchens, hallways, doorways, and deck areas. Need a barrier that doesn’t leave a bottom rail across a busy walkway? Its threshold-free design keeps the floor clear, while the Press & Push lock is made for one-handed operation.
Product specs

- Height: 33 inches

- Color: Black

The retractable format offers a different approach from a fixed metal gate: it can be rolled away when the opening needs to stay clear. With no bottom threshold, there is no floor rail to step over during everyday movement through the space. The mesh is designed to stay tensioned during regular use, and its surface can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. The adjustable lower mounting bracket helps align the gate around baseboards and wall trim.
Getting the most from it
Measure the opening before installation and use the included mounting hardware to secure the gate. Its extra-wide reach makes it useful for separating a kitchen from a living area, closing off a hallway, or creating a boundary near a deck. For daily routines, the one-handed Press & Push lock can be operated while carrying a child or household items. The same retractable barrier can serve as a baby gate or a dog gate for pets up to 40 lbs.
Buyer feedback highlights the design and its usefulness for keeping children and pets out of areas such as kitchens and decks. Experiences with the latch, durability, and retraction are mixed: some buyers find the gate convenient to use, while others report difficulty with the latch or inconsistent retraction. These differing impressions are worth considering alongside the practical fit, mounting location, and way the gate will be used in your home.
Included in the package
The package includes screws and mounting accessories for hardware installation. Set the mounting position to suit the opening and baseboard, then use the gate as a retractable boundary where a clear floor-level passage is useful.
Final verdict
This wide retractable gate is a practical fit for households that need a flexible barrier across doorways or other openings up to 70 inches wide. Its mesh construction, clear floor without a bottom rail, adjustable lower bracket, and one-handed lock suit everyday separation of young children and pets. Choose it when you want a gate that can close off a busy area and roll away when the opening is in use.
