Homhedy 31.5-Inch Cat Litter Box Enclosure with Barn Door, White

Key takeaways

At 31.5 inches long, this white Homhedy enclosure gives a litter box a defined place inside a piece of pet furniture. Its engineered-wood construction and farmhouse-inspired barn-door look help it blend into a room more naturally than an open litter tray. Use it as a covered litter box area, or set it up with a cat bed and toys as a quiet hideaway. The entrance can be installed on either the left or right to suit your room layout and your cat’s approach.

Customers often praise the clear assembly instructions and say the enclosure helps keep the litter area out of sight. Feedback on size is mixed, so compare the 31.5-inch length and 19.7-inch width with your litter box before choosing. Some buyers also report issues with doors or panels over time, while experiences with cats using the entrance vary.

Cleaning & care

The water-resistant veneered surface is designed to make cleaning easier around a spot that sees daily use. Double cabinet doors provide access for scooping and for storing cat food, keeping routine litter-box care and supplies together. The enclosed layout also gives loose litter a more contained area than a tray left fully open, helping the surrounding space look tidier.

Everyday use

This cabinet suits a living room, bedroom, or other shared space where an exposed litter box would be distracting. Place the litter box inside to create a more private bathroom area for your cat, with the entrance positioned on the side that works best for the room. The enclosure is also described as usable as a cat house: add a bed and toys for a tucked-away resting spot.

Unlike a basic litter tray that remains visible, this design combines the pet area with furniture-style storage and a usable top. It can serve as an end table or coffee table beside a sofa, or hold plants as a decorative accent. That flexibility makes it a practical choice for someone who wants the litter area to serve a defined purpose without looking like a standalone pet accessory. Its 19.7-inch height and 19.7-inch width are useful reference points when planning where it will sit.

Before you decide

Can I choose which side the cat entrance is on? Yes. The entrance can be installed on the left or right, letting you orient it to the space and the way your cat approaches the enclosure.

How do the cabinet doors help with litter-box upkeep? The double doors open the cabinet for daily scooping and provide access to the area where cat food can be stored.

What comes with the enclosure? The package includes instructions, tools, and hardware for assembly. Customers often describe assembly as straightforward, though feedback about long-term durability is mixed.

Should you buy it?

Choose this Homhedy enclosure if you want a more discreet litter-box setup that can also function as a cat hideaway or a piece of room furniture. Its reversible entrance placement, double-door access, and furniture-style top make it suited to homes where both everyday pet care and the appearance of a shared space matter.
