Logitech M240 Silent 910-007117 Compact Bluetooth Mouse, Rose

Set up a quieter workspace for laptop tasks at a shared desk, in a library, or while traveling. The Logitech M240 Silent connects over Bluetooth, so it pairs without taking up a USB port with a receiver. Its compact, ambidextrous shape is easy to pack and comfortable to use with either hand. Rose adds a distinct color to a simple, practical wireless setup.

Getting the most from it

Pair the mouse with a compatible device over Bluetooth and use it for everyday navigation, browsing, and document work. With no USB receiver required, the connection keeps a port free for other accessories and makes the mouse convenient for laptops and mobile devices. It works with Windows, macOS, Linux, ChromeOS, iPadOS, and Android, offering flexibility across a range of setups.

The small, lightweight design suits a travel bag or a compact desk, while its ambidextrous form works for left- and right-handed use. At a shared workspace, the quiet-click design helps reduce the sound of routine clicking without changing the familiar click feel. The mouse has three buttons, keeping everyday control straightforward rather than adding customizable controls. Its Bluetooth connection works at a range of up to 10m/33 feet, useful when the computer is positioned a little farther away.

What stands out

The M240 Silent is designed around quiet, portable wireless use. Logitech specifies a 90% reduction in click sound, making it a useful alternative to a conventional mouse when audible clicks are distracting to people nearby. Bluetooth pairing avoids a receiver, and the automatic sleep feature supports a battery life of up to 18 months, helping reduce how often batteries need to be changed.

Customers often highlight the quick Bluetooth setup, quiet clicking, and easy everyday use. Some also appreciate the compact shape for travel and smaller hands. These are user impressions, while the practical design details remain clear: the mouse is portable, ambidextrous, and made for Bluetooth connections without a dongle. The Rose version also uses certified post-consumer recycled plastic in 37% of its plastic parts, excluding printed wiring assembly plastics and packaging.

Key takeaways

This is a compact Bluetooth mouse for users who want straightforward navigation without a USB receiver. Its three-button layout keeps controls simple, and the quiet clicks suit shared environments such as an office, study area, or classroom. The ambidextrous shape adds flexibility when a mouse is shared or when choosing a travel companion for a laptop. Compared with a receiver-based wireless mouse, the M240 Silent connects directly through Bluetooth, which can be useful when preserving USB ports matters.

For a typical day, pair it with a laptop for email, web browsing, and document editing, then slip its small form into a bag when moving between workspaces. The up-to-18-month battery life and auto-sleep feature support longer stretches between battery changes, while broad operating-system compatibility makes it practical for people who use different devices.

Buying verdict

Choose the Logitech M240 Silent if you want a rose-colored, compact mouse for Bluetooth-enabled computers or mobile devices, especially for quiet shared work areas and travel. Its receiver-free connection, ambidextrous design, and reduced click sound address everyday convenience without adding complexity. It makes sense if you want a portable mouse with simple three-button control and a long-lasting battery for routine laptop use.
