ARZOPA Z1C 16.1-Inch Portable Monitor, FHD 1080p IPS, 100% sRGB

For work, entertainment, or gaming away from a desktop setup, a portable second screen can make more room for the content you need to see. The ARZOPA Z1C pairs a 16.1-inch display with a built-in kickstand. Its 1920 x 1080 resolution and 100% sRGB color gamut make it useful for both everyday tasks and watching or playing content.

What to know

The Z1C uses an IPS display with a 16:9 aspect ratio, 178-degree viewing angle, and matte surface. That wide viewing angle helps keep the screen visible when you shift position or share it with someone nearby, while the matte finish reduces glare from surrounding light. With a 1000:1 contrast ratio and 300 cd/m² brightness, it provides clear Full HD viewing for documents, video, and games.

A 16.1-inch screen gives you more working area than a laptop display alone. That can help when you want a document open beside a video call, or a larger view of a game or movie without moving to a fixed desktop monitor. The built-in metal stand supports landscape and portrait positioning, so you can set the display up for wide spreadsheets or vertically oriented documents. At 770 g, it is designed to travel with a laptop rather than stay tied to one desk.

For connections, the monitor has USB-C and mini HDMI ports. The listed compatible devices include laptops, smartphones, and gaming consoles such as Xbox, PS3, PS4, PS5, and Switch. A mini HDMI-to-HDMI cable and a USB-C-to-USB-C cable are included. Buyers often highlight the vivid picture, portable size, and straightforward setup, feedback about connectivity and long-term reliability is mixed, so experiences vary.

How to use it

Place the monitor on a stable desk or table and open its built-in stand. Connect a compatible device through USB-C or mini HDMI, choosing the port and cable that match the device’s video output. The listed display modes include duplicate, extended, and second-screen use, letting you mirror a presentation, add workspace for a laptop task, or keep entertainment on a separate screen. Its portrait and landscape positions make it easy to orient the display around the content at hand.

Usage tips

For a laptop workflow, use the extended-display mode to keep reference material visible while working in another window. In a meeting or presentation setting, duplicate mode can show the same content on both screens. For a console or phone, connect through the appropriate supported video connection and place the monitor where the stand can rest securely. The built-in speakers provide an audio option for casual viewing, while the screen’s 60 Hz refresh rate and 3 ms response time are specified for its display.

Compared with a stationary desktop monitor, the Z1C is suited to setups that move between rooms, workspaces, or travel locations. Compared with relying on a laptop screen alone, it adds a separate 16.1-inch viewing area for multitasking or entertainment. Its compact, stand-equipped design keeps setup simple when a permanent monitor is not practical.

Buying verdict

Choose the ARZOPA Z1C when you want a portable Full HD screen with a larger-than-typical laptop display area, flexible viewing orientation, and USB-C or mini HDMI connectivity. The IPS panel, 100% sRGB gamut, matte finish, and integrated stand make it a practical companion for mobile work, shared viewing, and gaming setups that need an additional screen.
