Koonmi Office Chair Mat for Carpet, 46" x 60" Tempered Glass, 0.19" Thick

Some workspaces need carpet protection that blends in rather than covering the floor’s appearance. This clear tempered-glass chair mat creates a defined surface for an office chair while letting the carpet pattern show through.

At 46" x 60" and 0.19" thick, it offers a broad area for a chair to roll. Rounded corners and polished edges give the mat a finished contour, and a detachable anti-slip pad helps keep it in place.

Want to protect the floor while keeping the room’s look visible? The transparent surface is designed for carpet and can also be used on wood or marble floors.

Tips for day-to-day use

Place the mat in the chair’s working area so the chair can roll across its glass surface instead of directly over the carpet. Its clear finish lets the floor remain part of the room’s visual style, which is useful in a home office, bedroom workspace, study, or craft room. The rounded corners and polished edges create a smooth perimeter around the mat, while the included detachable anti-slip pad supports placement during everyday use.

The tempered-glass construction is designed to resist scratching, cracking, and curling. For anyone comparing a glass surface with a conventional plastic chair mat, the main distinction here is a rigid, transparent mat that preserves the floor’s visible pattern. Buyers often highlight chair mobility and appearance, comments on how securely the mat stays in place vary. The detachable pad is a practical feature for positioning it on carpet.

Pros

This mat combines floor protection with a clear profile, so it can suit a workspace where the carpet’s color or pattern matters. Its 0.19-inch tempered glass construction provides a firm rolling area, and the stated maximum weight capacity is 1,000 pounds. The polished edges and rounded corners add a finished shape, while the broad rectangular surface accommodates the chair’s working zone. It is also described for use on wood and marble floors, where it can help protect against chair-related scratches.
