E-Z Ink Pro LC203XL Replacement Ink Cartridges, 5-Pack with Black and CMY
Product description
When a home office runs low on ink midway through printing documents or color pages, this E-Z Ink Pro LC203XL replacement set provides a complete cartridge group for compatible Brother printers. The pack includes two black cartridges and one each of cyan, magenta, and yellow, so it covers both everyday text printing and jobs that use color.
It is a compatible replacement rather than a Brother-branded cartridge, and the listed yield is 550 pages per cartridge at 5% coverage. That estimate gives a point of comparison, not a promise about how many pages a particular mix of documents and images will produce.
How to use it
Check your printer’s model against the compatibility list before choosing this set. The product information names models including the MFC-J4420DW, MFC-J480DW, MFC-J680DW, MFC-J880DW, and MFC-J885DW, among others. The cartridges are described as replacements for the LC203XL, LC203, LC201XL, and LC201 cartridge families, that does not mean every printer that uses one of those codes is necessarily covered, so matching the printer model is the more useful check.
The updated LC203 cartridge is described as having no locking clip, with the manufacturer stating that this does not affect fit. Install the cartridges according to the printer’s usual replacement process. If you are buying for a printer not named in the compatibility information, this listing does not establish that it will work with that device.

Where it shines
The two black cartridges make this set practical for a printer that handles regular text output as well as occasional color printing. The cyan, magenta, and yellow cartridges round out the set, avoiding a bundle made up only of black ink. For a household or small office that wants replacement supplies across these colors, that mix is more useful than buying a single-color cartridge at a time, someone who prints almost exclusively in black may prefer to compare it with a black-only option instead.
Buyer feedback is generally positive about ease of installation, print quality, and color, with some describing the cartridges as a workable alternative to manufacturer-branded supplies. Compatibility feedback is mixed, though: some buyers report that their printer did not recognize the cartridges. That makes the exact printer model an important part of the purchase decision, rather than relying on the cartridge-family name alone.
It’s a great fit if your printer is among the listed models and you want both black and color replacements in one pack. Not the best choice if your printer is not identified in the compatibility information or you need certainty that it will recognize a third-party cartridge.
Is it worth it?
This set makes sense for buyers who need a multi-color replacement bundle and have a printer model explicitly listed. The stated 550-page yield per cartridge, measured at 5% coverage, offers a reference point for comparing cartridge options, while actual use will vary with print coverage. If you prioritize the reassurance of supplies made by the printer manufacturer, this compatible set takes a different approach, its appeal is having two black and three color cartridges together. The main tradeoff is the reported variation in recognition, so confirm the model match before relying on it for an urgent print job.
