67 Ink Cartridge Combo Pack

When a home printer is used for school pages, forms, and occasional color prints, replacing both ink types at once can simplify restocking. This 67XL combo pack includes two black cartridges and one color cartridge, with listed compatibility across selected HP DeskJet and Envy models, including HP+ enrolled printers.

The main appeal is the extra black cartridge for households that print mostly text. The fit depends on your exact printer model, so check the list before ordering.

Best use cases

This pack makes the most sense for routine home printing where black text is used more often than color. The two black cartridges can help keep everyday pages covered, while the color cartridge is there for charts, school projects, and other occasional color jobs. If you’re printing a stack of forms one evening and need a few color pages the next day, having both ink types on hand is the practical advantage.

The listed yield is up to 700 pages per 67XL black cartridge and 450 pages per 67XL color cartridge, based on 5% page coverage. Those figures are estimates tied to light coverage, not a promise for every document. Photos, filled graphics, and heavier ink use can change how quickly a cartridge runs out. Worth considering if your printer is on the compatibility list and black printing makes up much of your workload.

Product specs

The box contains three cartridges: two 67 black and one 67 color. The product is described as 67XL, and the stated page yields are up to 700 pages for each black cartridge and up to 450 for the color cartridge at 5% coverage. The listing also claims 2.5–3 times more print capacity, but the page-yield estimates are the more useful figures for planning—and they still depend on what you print.

Compatibility covers selected DeskJet models in the 1255, 2300, 2700, 2800, 4100, and 4200 families, plus selected Envy 6000 and 6400 models. Examples include DeskJet 2700e, 2755e, 2855e, 4125e, and 4155e, and Envy 6055e and 6455e. These are examples, not a substitute for checking the full model list: similar family names can refer to different printer versions. The listing says the cartridges are compatible with HP+ enrolled printers, but confirm your particular model is included before choosing this pack.

Where it shines

The two-black, one-color split suits a common printing pattern better than a pack with equal numbers of each color: text-heavy household use with color needed now and then. It also means you have a spare black cartridge ready when the first one runs dry, rather than needing to reorder immediately. If your printing is mostly photos or color-heavy documents, that split may be less useful, a pack with more color cartridges would better match that kind of demand.

One practical limitation is that the advertised yield assumes only 5% coverage. A page with dense graphics or large blocks of color uses ink differently, so don’t treat the maximum figures as a guaranteed number of pages. And because the product details don’t specify other performance measures, the decision here should rest on the cartridge type, stated yield, and exact printer compatibility.

Buying verdict

This is a sensible format to consider when you need 67XL replacements for a listed DeskJet or Envy printer and want two black cartridges alongside one color cartridge. It may not suit you if your exact model isn’t listed, or if your regular jobs are color-heavy enough that one color cartridge is an awkward match. Compared with buying a more balanced color-heavy assortment, this pack puts more of its supply toward black printing. Check the model number on your printer and weigh the 5%-coverage yield estimate against the kind of pages you actually print, those two details matter more than the broad printer-family names.
