Usage Recommendations
Install the dash cam using the adjustable bracket, which supports 90-degree front positioning and 360-degree rear camera alignment. For optimal results, wire the rear camera to the front unit using the included hardware or the hardwire kit (sold separately). Keep the device powered at all times during use due to its supercapacitor design. Connect your smartphone via 5GHz WiFi to access live previews, download recordings, or share videos through the iiwey or viidure app. Long-press the left arrow button to activate WiFi before pairing. If the app doesn’t connect within five minutes, the dash cam will shut down WiFi to prevent overheating.
⚠️ Note: The IIWEY N5 does not include GPS or OBD support. A hardwire kit is required for rear camera operation and is sold separately.
